Nice calm place with a few good vegan options. We had the agadashi tofu and the vegetable tempura wrap, both of which were exceptionally tasty and well cooked. Would love to see more vegan options here.

This was my first visit to La Jolla and our group went to Sushi Mori on our first night. I was surprised to see Uni on the menu in this little sushi restaurant so I had to order it. Our very helpful waitress suggested that I get the king scallop and uni sushi. I did and oh my goodness did it exceed my expectations. I am a big foodie and uni has been on my bucket list for years. Living in Texas, it has been impossible for me to get because it is so cost prohibitive to ship here. So I was delighted to be on the west coast where uni is harvested.
The sushi plate has the sweetness of the scallop and the creamy umami flavor of the uni. I was in foodie heaven. It was so good, I went back for lunch the next two days!

The Cherry Blossom Roll was to great. One of the best rolls I have had recently. Sat at the sushi bar and the service was amazing!

Went there a few times, will go again.
Amazing service, waitress was efficient and nice.
They also gave mothers presents for mother's day, which was a nice touch.
The food was fresh and delicious (and we are usually picky when it comes to sushi).

Exceptional customer service we originally made a reservation with barbella Next door but we were denied service they said they were closed but this restaurant took us right away and service was fast! Britany was our server and she was excellent and efficient we appreciate the hospitality we aren’t from here so we were very thankful for the last minute service. She even offered chopstick helpers for my daughter after over hearing she didn’t know how to use them. Thank you we appreciate you! ❤️

There is nothing better than fresh sushi rolls and steaming hot ramen to start the weekend! Luckily at Sushi Mori you can have both and so much more. Their fish is cut fresh daily and the rolls are almost too beautiful to eat. Sushi Mori has been family owned for over 15 years and is truly a gem. Plus it’s only a short walk to the iconic La Jolla Shores.
