This was the only restaurant we could find which opened late. It turned out everything was great. Food was delicious. Service was good. The hotel scene was fantastic, even at night. We need to come back in day time for pictures:)

I would say the atmosphere is top notch quality. It's gorgeous and instagram worthy At the corner of the restaurant just next to theit restroom, they have the most pretiest wishing tree. Our servers were amazing. However, our churros took longer than expected, but the server apologized to us as he accidentally gave it to the wrong table, and they had to make a new batch for ours. I appreciated his honesty, but we had to wait for an extra 30 mins for our dessert to come. The food I am biased as we have traveled quite a lot and ate at a lot from different mexican restaurants, but I wasn't sure if I ordered the right one. I ordered the pork, so that was a mistake. I highly highly recommend the cauliflower appetizer!!! I actually ate that more than the main course. Please, if you come here ask for the Cauliflower appetizer, its delicious!

Cool place nearby to UCSD. Architecture reminiscent to a El Zorro cartoon chapter with very good service and excellent drinks. I can't speak about the food because I didn't try it.

Food and service here are pretty good. I have gone here numerous times over the years and haven't had anything I didn't like. Cozy atmosphere here.
I do wish they still had the filet on the menu, as it was my favorite.

Food was really good, everything we ate from the salmon, burrata, tartare, churros, to the ice cream. Free valet was nice as well, or if you self park nearby the restaurant will validate. Service was excellent, super friendly and attentive!

The food was great! The guacamole... Yum! Their take on ceviche is very unique and absolutely delicious. Huge chunks of fish and packed with flavor in every bite. The fish tacos were perfectly cooked and the sauce was "saucesome"! Attentive service to our large group made it feel as if we were the only ones there. Great job, 10/10 recommended.

I really enjoyed this place. Went there with some friends Friday afternoon for dinner. Its a Mediterranean type environment and rustic. Its a bit loud for my tastes, but service, food and value were all good. The albondigas and chips/guac were great! The burger and Iberia tacos were good as well, really enjoyed them. Nut much in terms of dessert and the drinks were good too. I would give it 4.5 stars if it was an option.

This place is adorable. It is part of La Estancia hotel. It is located outdoors with a covered area, a huge fire pit, benches, tons of pillows and good vibes. As a vegetarian there are not many things on the menu for me. I think there are some kind of tacos. However I still love coming here to grab a drink and soak in the scene. I also like that the bathrooms are outdoors and you don’t have to go inside. This was the best place to chill during covid.

Beautiful property but needs some updating. The room was not clean prior to our arrival but they did make it right. The balcony only has one chair for a room with 2 beds and the slats had a lot of wood rot that caught my shoe. The room amenities were very average. The pool was packed with neighborhood families who were not hotel guests but rather members who took up all the chairs and there were no towels both times I went to the pool. We went here to relax and have a spa vacation. The food was great. The spa was not clean and the clothing optional aspect isn’t good given that the spa is so small and I was shoved in next to naked people which made my spa time less relaxing than other high end spas. The price for massages was too high based on this but our massage therapists were amazing and he massages were fabulous.

Check In- quick and easy.
Room- complementary coffee, water, and wine was awesome. Super comfortable bed. Only complaint- Sheets were dirty.
Restaurant- Mustangs and Burros has amazing food and drinks. Ordered tequila mussels and they came out cold and our waitress quickly replaced them
Pool- loved that they had a live DJ playing music. Service was also great
Check out- there was in room charges that didn’t belong to us but it was also quickly taken off
Overall experience was great. Will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

I fell in love with the Estancia when my friend had her baby shower on the olive lawn. When I got engaged four years later, I knew that was the venue and didn’t look elsewhere. It was an easy process and exceeded my expectations. Victor and Brenna were kind, professional and did their job very well. I had so much fun planning with Brenna and the tasting made me feel like a princess with my own ballroom. The wedding day was flawless and perfect and so beautiful. The entire weekend was wonderful and the staff were so kind from the valet, coffee shop and both restaurants. The spa was so cozy and we had much needed massages before the big day. We were treated like royalty and I have never felt so special. My guests still talk about it six months later. Estancia also has a list of preferred vendors and I highly recommend Sweet Blossoms Weddings for planning and Claire Elyse for makeup. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We had a lovely stay this weekend. Everything was great...the room...the grounds...the spa...the masseuse...the staff. A captive audience with no adjacent options, the drinks and sundries are sort of silly expensive, but we've come to expect this from hotels these days. We did not let this gouging get us down.
Our experiences at M&B (2) and at the wine bar were great. Excellent quality and kind staff.
I wanted to call out Zach in the wine bar, however. That guy is awesome and supremely customer service oriented. He's a keeper. When he wasn't busy with his customers, he dutifully polished the high-end liquourbottles. "Some of these are really nice bottles and I think they should shine. No fingerprints." Charming Mexican Hacienda with sprawling grounds, beautifully landscaped with drought-tolerant flora, relaxed elegant food service and many other amenities. There were two weddings in different outdoor spaces while I was there so a good option for destination celebrations. La Jolla Cove with its boutiques and restaurants is a short scenic drive away.

First time and really enjoyed our stay. Every employee we've come in contact with has been friendly and accommodating. The room is very nice overlooking the large courtyard with a small balcony, just right for having coffee or wine. The bed is very confortable. Convenient location to Scripps Nature Preserve and downtown LA Jolla. Mustang and Burroughs have great food and drinks. Would definitely come back, the atmosphere and ambience are so relaxing and inviting.

What a beautiful place. Friendly staff and the best Deep tissue I've ever had. Vandella is a beast! My back has many issues and she helped break down a lot of them. Wow. Maria at the front spa desk was awesome and helpful making sure are every need was met. Brisa the manager was super nice and accommodating and Christian was maybe the coolest bartender ever. Thanks for a wonderful time every.
