Prep Kitchen - La Jolla - Photo album

The place is a bit far from the beach area but the drive is well worthed. The fish tacos were great with mahi mahi. The chicken dish was also good. The potatoes were delicious. The side veggies were a bit salty for my looking though. The drinks were also good but sangria could have been a bit more f
My boyfriend and I made a reservation to come here at 6:30 on a Sunday....when we got there it didn't seem like a reservation was absolutely necessary. EVERYTHING WE HAD WAS DELICIOUS. We started with a soup of the day (it had bacon and pinto beans *not pictured) and the soup with the yellow curry
We sat outside and were very well looked after. Outdoor heaters for those feeling the chill that evening. Food was fabulous.
Went out to eat with my mom. Great food, great service, nice staff, everything I wanted for a casual dinner. I ordered the Mac and cheese, and my mom ordered the tater tots with salmon. Both tasted amazing. The Mac and cheese was very rich, but very good. I suggest eating it with a fork. The tater t
The food was pretty good. Not outstanding. The prices were very fair for La Jolla. The server was very polite and attentive. One interesting fact is that the fish on the fish and chips was grilled. That was a first. I never thought about asking if the fish was going to be fried. We sat outside, so i
Love this place. I would describe the atmosphere as "cozy, intimate beach house decorated by your cool grandma." I had scallop with risotto and green apple which was perfection. Our waiter was definitely a surfer and was super chill and friendly but also very good at his job.
This restaurant has two locations in the San Diego area. The La Jolla location looks like it mainly offered outdoor seating which was fine on a pleasant June evening. The staff were friendly and engaging with a good knowledge of the menu. The brussel sprout appetizer was great. Crab cakes and th
This place was amazing! I had the mahi mahi fish tacos and of course my coca cola in a can because they don't have fountain drinks. My girlfriend had a chicken sandwich that taste bomb! I had to try it. The waiter had a good sense of humor very welcoming and he made you feel comfortable. I liked th
Great food, and a wonderfully approachable menu. The chilaquiles are perfect with a light spice and savory chicken. The tuna melt is scrumptious and addicting. One of my favorites is the beef, melt in you mouth tender and can't put your fork down good. Their beer and wine selection is encompassing a
This place is so good. The waiter (i wish i remembered his name...) was pretty awesome. He suggested a custom dish that he likes to order himself and it was amazing. It was the garlic shrimp with pasta. We also ordered the chilaquiles...so good. The sangria and bloody mary was nice to go along with
Great atmosphere. Very chill. Stopped for a quick bite before a concert at The Conrad. Avocado toast is beautiful and tastes yummy. Chilaquiles was out of this world. Great flavor and spicy good.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinning experience! Comfortable atmosphere, wonderful food and absolutely amazing service all the way around. Not only was our server lovely, every person working here was a pleasure. Wouldn't hesitate to return, looking forward to our next visit.
They have great seafood dishes. The mussels were juicy and the sauce was buttery Herby good. The seabass special had great presentation and taste. Their Cesar salad is one of the best I've had. I made Cesar dressing in a fine dining restaurant and this was second only to that. I can tell they make
Great service, very welcoming atmosphere, nice playlist, cauliflower soup was too thin and they played down how much milk was in it. The fried chicken sandwich was too peppery and the sweet pickle slices didn't work in the mix. Liked the lemon cucumber water.
Great location that's usually not too busy for a weekend brunch. All the food is really good that we have had in our multiple visits. This place also some great vegan options for those that prefer that kind of food.
I loved the food and the way the restaurant was presented. So cute and inviting. The staff was friendly, but not over the top. Very elegant. The prices how ever were, a little unexpected. Not that I wanna complain too much upon it. It was well worth the price for location an what they have to offer.
