Crab Catcher Restaurant - La Jolla - Photo album

I've been here several times, and I love the location. I never go at night time but during the day is gorgeous! Ask to seat by the window looking out the ocean the La Jollla Cove and you never regret the view. Beautiful! Foodwise, perfect! Love the fish nice and tender. For the servers, I'll give
Window seats are the most worth it obviously if you could grab yourself a table, however since we went there at night sun had already set since we were busy taking pictures. Food was fresh, however I personally expected better due to the price we were paying. Baked Oysters was tasty although they we
The view is a excellent and the service is good. I thought the spaghetti with white clams was good but I would have appreciated more pasta. The crab BLT was tasty but it was crab salad with tomato and bacon. I was expecting lump crab meat. The paradise macadamia ice cream pie is good. The restauran
Beautiful view and good food. Crab bisque was so good with lot of crab meat. Pasta was also good. There is not many people at that time so we could get the window seat and enjoyed the view too. The stuff was kinda slow which could be improved
Oh what a wonderful place (Our new HAPPY Place) to enjoy a few drinks and have lunch! The service was superb, the Martinis and wine were on point and of course the food didn’t disappoint! Definitely returning to this gem in La Jolla!
I came during happy hour. Great king crab legs and lobster. Service was great. I had an excellent view of the ocean from my table. I will definitely come back.
Beautiful ocean views of La Jolla Cave. Staff was professional and friendly, food delicious. Had the burger, lobster pappardelle, crab enchiladas. Highly recommend the bloody Mary shrimp cocktail!
Food was delicious, view was amazing, staff were friendly and attentive. Think they have a elevator but I took the stairs its a bit of a walk to get down. It's not super easy to spot from the street.
Lovely views and pretty good food. The prices are higher than the quality provides but as this is a tourist spot that is somewhat to be expected. Get a seat by the window, don't expect amazing food and don't look at the bill and you'll have a great time in the beautiful building overlooking the bay
This was our 2nd visit & it was just as good as the 1st time. The food is amazing, very fresh and priced correctly for the portion size & quality. The staff is very nice and the view...well that alone is worth going.
Price: yes it is expensive. Environment: the restaurant itself is very nice, downstairs so far away from the noise street. We were early for dinner time so got a beautiful spot for ocean view. But to be honest, the location of the restaurant, in a corner, make it will not be the best for viewing th
We came here for Sunday brunch. I have the Poached Eggs La Jolla and we shared the baked oysters. So so delicious! I would order both again and again!
Great view across the bay to Scripps pear and with cormorants seating on the nearby pine trees. Lively environment with locals and visitors in balmy evening air. The food could be cheaper but we enjoyed the quality and good job of servers.
This place has an unbeatable ocean view, especially for around sunset time. The food was delicious and fresh, and our waiter was kind, attentive, and very helpful. We loved the truffle fries as an appetizer! The shrimp pasta was to die for, the shrimp were delicious. I also love a place that mention
This restaurant is in the beautiful town of La Jolla. This is my favorite restaurant on the west coast...Period! The food and drinks are great. The view is beautiful. Price is expensive $$$. Reservation is recommended for view seating. The hostess and waiters/waitresses are courteous professional and
Best ocean view restaurant, called and asked for a window seat and it was granted on a Holiday !! We ordered their famous Lobster, and king crab legs were delicious. The staff was on point...and very attentive. Cant wait to come back.
Make a reservation here. We had a table facing a view of the ocean. I had the Lobster Pappardelle pasta. It has a heavy cream. it tasted okay. I had the calamari for appetizer not so special. I think the service was great though.
My husband and I have been to the Crab Catcher many times, and we absolutely love it! We were first introduced to it in 2014 at my company Christmas party! Since then, we've made it our restaurant of choice for our wedding anniversary! Misty was our server for our first anniversary, and provided ex
