Got the interesting seating and feel of breezy La Jolla!
Bird Rock Coffee Roasters in La Jolla is known for its specialty coffee and commitment to quality sourcing. They prioritize direct relationships with coffee producers and offer a variety of single-origin coffees. The cozy atmosphere and skill
Cute coffee perfect to work for a few hours! There are a bunch of them around the city, this one is very calm and with good wifi! The barman was also cute!
Fantastic iced latte - smooth taste, not too weak or too strong. Tasty baked goods as well. Friendly service, dog friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
The best and most consistent cup of coffee in SD in my opinion. My go-to cup of coffee when I’m in the area. The spiced mocha or flat white are my favorites for sure.
This is my favorite coffee spot in La Jolla / PB beach area. I really like the taste of the oat milk latte and the relaxed atmosphere in the coffeeshop. I love grabbing a coffee there after surfing in Tourmaline.
It’s also a great place to work remotely, just the WiFi is not very stable sometimes 🙈
Friendly and welcoming staff. We went early on a Saturday morning, so it wasn't too busy. The coffee was wonderful: light yet flavorful. The pan aux amandes were flaky, buttery, and bursted with flavor. The blueberry scones were light and crumbled well.
Very busy on the weekends. The stroopwafel latte was underwhelming, just tasted like cinnamon.
Best coffee in San Diego in my opinion. From the entrance to the decorations, adding the aroma of coffee coming from the bar, you could immediately feel the vibe they’re trying to bring you.
We ordered hot vanilla latte and iced original latte. They tasted so good that we decided to buy two bags of
Needed a morning cup to start the day and hit this local place up that was in walking distance from our hotel. Conveniently located directly across the street from a Starbucks. Skip the overpriced Venti and shop local. The ice latte was my go to and even picked up a few bags to take back home to NC
Got their French Roast batch brew and single origin espresso (the bird).
The espresso was bright and tangy with cherry and berry notes. I usually don't see too many light roast espressos, so I definitely recommend this one. At $3.75 it's pretty expensive for an espresso, but it costs the same as th
AMAZING! You know you have great coffee when you are directly across the street from a Starbucks and have great reviews plus a longer line. I would highly recommend this place Whether you are looking for a good dark roast black coffee, specialty coffees, or pastries.
Great beverages, friendly staff, interesting artwork on the walls, nice tables to study. WiFi didn’t work so hot spotted. Only wish they played something different than loud techno music but I’m sure some must love it.
Visiting from the East Coast an an avid coffee drinker, this was the BEST iced Americano that I enjoyed while on vacation! Thank you so much!
Pretty good coffee! Only gripe I have is that they give you so little!!! Although the prices are reasonable for what you get. They were people coming in nonstop but we didn't have to wait long for our drinks.
Matcha wasn’t as good as the matcha from the Torrey Pines location but the lattes are good!
Bird Rock Coffee Roasters is an iconic spot. For sure my favorite coffee spot in La Jolla. I have nothing bad to say about this place, definitely give it a try.
A truly exceptional coffee roastery that I've had the pleasure to visit. I sampled a flavored latte there, which was incredibly smooth and sweet.
Coffee is great — some of the best in the area — and seating options are perfect for a nice day hang out! The food leaves a bit something to be desired. Muffins are solid, but danish wasn’t anything special. Come for the coffee, but maybe pass on the food.
Love getting Coffee and a cookie here after a hard nights work, employees are always great. After I get my order I'll take a short walk to the beach front to unwind, so peaceful.
