My Sweetheart and I decided to finally become wife and husband. I called Le Chateau and Eva, one of the owners answered the phone. She was delightful and excited to help us with our small ceremony. We reserved the wine cellar and the atmosphere was wonderful. My now wife and I are wine lovers so to be surrounded by wine and our children was everything we needed. Instead of a ring ceremony I wanted to toast those celebrating with us. Eva herself was there to pop the cork and pour glasses of one of the nicest Champagnes we've ever had. After, we went upstairs and ate like there was no tomorrow. It was a feast. Delicious, adventurous and decadent. Our server, James was very attentive and friendly. He knew the menu and how to make us feel special. The experience was better than we had hoped. We've been to Le Chateau many times before and will be there many times again. Thank you Eva, James and everyone in the kitchen for hosting our beautiful celebration.

Smoked old fashioneds are to die for. Seasonally rotating menu with very unique offerings. I had the Elk loin and finished it off with a cappuccino creme brulee. Extensive drink menu as well with very knowledgeable staff.

Every time we eat here the food and drinks are top-notch. This is one of our favorite places to eat in La Crosse! During summer time the outdoors makes you feel like you're in France. But the ambiance indoors is terrific as well.

Excellent French cuisine. My wife and I enjoyed the great drink recommendations from the friendly and helpful staff, and their food was delicious. I didn’t need a knife to cut my steak because it was so tender. The French press coffee we enjoyed with our dessert was some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. If you’re visiting La Crosse, definitely make a reservation at Le Chateau!

Their outdoor seating is beautiful! I use to come here because of the awesome indoor ambiance, but with covid, well you know (that being said, inside you can eat in your own private room, so really nothing much to worry about compared to other places:). Outside is spacious, beautiful gardens and looking at the outside of this magnificent home is just as intriguing as when you are inside! As always the French food is spectacular. My wife, father, golden-doodle and I, ordered slowly and shared our food. This gives you more time to enjoy the ambiance and savor the different flavors. I also feel good signing the check here, as it supports keeping this gem of a home in tip top shape and as an asset to our community's history.
