Piggy's

Seating is by reservation only. Service was slow. We ordered the cheese curds with tomatoes sauce. The cheese curds were very good but the sauce seemed watered down and not much flavor but had a canny taste. I got a salad and that was very good my husband ordered prime rib and vegetable soup. He stated it wasn't anything special. For our entrees his New York strip was cooked to his liking but there was no flavor. I ordered the bacon wrapped tiger shrimp. I was very disappointed. The bacon was thin and reminded me of microwave bacon. The shrimp were tasteless and the honey BBQ was ketchup. We traveled a long way to enjoy a night together and we were disappointed with our experience.

Came here after dinner for drinks and a late night snack, bartender was kind and saw to our empty glasses with generous pours, my wife had the flourless chocolate cake which was delicious and I had their wonderful cheese curds, crispy and slightly gooey, absolutely fantastic. One thing I will be making the trip back to Lacrosse to try is their ice cream drinks they looked fantastic, we were just too full.
