Best Mexican food in the area. Atmosphere is basic but the food is the best around. Other local Mexican restaurants are more popular due to ambiance, larger size, side table prep service, larger staff/kitchens and nice bar areas, but the food here is hands down the best.

Open for take out only. This time I tried the camerones tampico and was very pleased. Generous helping with typical sides. More authentic than the local competition. Please tip generously and support this fine place or we will lose it.

This was a boy-scout fundraiser. The restaurant was so helpful! We dined out sitting on the two picnic tables right outside the restaurant.

Well-deserved 5 stars. I decided to come here for a late night, last minute dinner. Dona María lived up to its name! They were out of the sirloin so we opted for chicken instead( a suggestion from the barista) and I'm glad we did because their fajitas are the best I've had in years- home made, authentic Mexican style. The rice, beans, salsa and chips were all exquisite. This will be my go-to Mex food place when I'm in the area. The employees were all pleasant and welcoming, something that's becoming rare these days. Thanks for the yummy food!!!
