Wonderful spot for quick easy meal. Staff was friendly. Food portions were large. Spam musubi was delicious.

Fantastic food. The prices are unbelievable. Cheaper than fast food but far, far, better. Friendly staff and fast service. Highly recommended!

The food is prepared with Aloha and is most delicious. Teas are light and gentle to my tummy as I have healing ulcers. There's so much to see on the walls, and most of it is for sale. They are some very beautiful souvenirs/gifts/home decor. The seating style and atmosphere are warm, and i feel like I belong here. I live about 7 minutes away and am so blessed and excited to keep going back.

Returning Customer! Never let down here! Food always breaks da mouth! Compliments to the chef and the lovely ladies who welcomes me every time. It’s one of my go-to places!
I’m a mac salad guy and I usually know if a place is good or not just on how they make their mac salad! If a place is willing to make bomb Mac salad then they probably put just as much effort into the other food…

Good food and reasonable. Had the seafood combo which was fried but would like to try their Ono (wahoo) or garlic mahi. Comes with rice and one side. Beef is salty but tasty.

We stopped at 7-Eleven and discovered Kurtistown Cafe… next door. We generally don’t leave reviews but the Roast Pork with Gravy plate lunch was so incredible it deserves a mention. Don’t judge this book by it’s cover… Kurtistown Cafe is Real. Good. Food. One of the best local spots we’ve found across several of the islands.

My favorite poke on the big island so far. We liked it so much we had to come back again the next day!
Food:
Spicy ahi: 5/5 - We loved this. It’s the perfect amount of food and every part was delicious. Generous amount of poke and the right ratio of rice and fish. The cucumber salad was nicely salty 😋 and I liked the addition of dragonfruit. The miso soup that’s included is a nice touch too!
Garlic shoyu ahi: 4.5/5 - We also really liked this, we just slightly preferred the spicy ahi.
Service:
5/5! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The lovely lady preparing the poke even gave us a sample of another poke since we couldn’t decide.

Simple restaurant with good food. We had the Korean Plate and the Seafood Plate. The teriyaki beef was the standout. Good macaroni salad. They have a fun used book side-gig (lots of Nora Roberts & romance novels).

Korean BBQ and rice mini meal was delicious!! Ladies were super nice and the resturant was clean and organized. Not much room, so most people would order and go. Even got to watch Beauty and the Beast while I ate! Will be visting again!

I only tried the loco moco here. First time trying this dish as well.
Wow it was gigantic! Given the prices on this island I didn't expect it to be so big. The gravy was the star of the show. And they put so much that every bit of rice would have enough gravy. The hamburger steaks were okay. A bit on the salty side. I prefer the japanese hamburg more which has more panko and onion so the patty is soft and juicy. Their mac salad here is pretty good and this is only the third time I've had it here.
