Great Poke! Line moves fast so make sure you look at the many posted menus before getting to the window to know what to order. No seating so we took our lunch down to the beach to enjoy.

Insanely fresh fish - some of the best we had on the island. I felt they were very reasonably priced as well. They are takeaway only but there is a small park nearby with picnic tables. Can’t wait to visit again sometime!

Before I start on the poke/fish part let me make an PSA: the mango bread is amazing!
Ok then...now to the fishy business. All served to-go. We got the Lau Lau Plate, Tuna Poke (Korean Style Poke, Maui Onion Seaweed Poke), side of poi and macsalad. The medium or large bowl of poke gets you two or three types of poke along with sides which are not many. Their poi is local and on the thicker side - tasted like mashed taro rather than poi. Great variety of pokes but not many sides. The macsalad was nothing special and heavy on the mayo. Overall it's a good option however there's better poke places in the island. I'll go back for the mango bread for sure!

Poke 3 ways please. Such a great spot to grab a quick to go box. Then drive down the benenke beach to enjoy the fresh and flavorful Poke.

We ate here four times during our visit and tried every poke option. Different people in our family has different favorites (they were all great). Great prices. It gets a big line at lunch time, so just call ahead and you can walk right up and get your food.

Their poke bowls are out of this world. The flavor is perfect and the fish is super fresh. Def stop by if you’re in the area. Very impressed

Parking is very limited in the rear. No restrooms or eating in premises. Walked up to a line but it moves fast and they prepare it fast.
I got beef curry stew. It was pretty good. I also got a small cup of the avocado ahi poke which was very good.
Husband got the medium poke bowl with Korean and shoyu poke.
Everything was good but the poke felt small for the price.

Delicious poke. We had the shoyu ahi (yummy and light) and tried the smoked marlin (on the stronger side flavor wise). Sweet potato haupia was very good!

It's a short hike to and from the hole We've had a lot of raw fish on the island, and this fish market is the only one that comes close to Foodland. . The Tako Poke is tender and juicy, Soft and simple with a touch of sweet onion. Wasabi Ahi Poke is a slow green burn, and I love the green masago for texture.

Koloa Fish Market - Worst customer service ever. They had fresh ahi tuna grilled for $22 a pound. overpriced but whatever...I asked for 2 pieces but the woman at the counter (older and angry type) said there was a 3 to 4 piece minimum. The pieces are large and did not want to ruin dinner. And also; who is the boss here - customer or employee? you don't want my money? She refused to sell the 2 pieces even though the prices were 'by the pound" not by the piece. And there was a real undercurrent of "we hate tourist but we'll take your money" vibe going on. Totally disappointed.

Visiting friends on Kauai. I was out at the beach my first full day here and wanted some poke for lunch. A girl at a local shop referred me to Koloa Fish Market. It did not disappoint. I wanted something with substance but still light and that is what I got. I highly suggest the Maui onion poke.

One of the best eateries we tried on Kauai. Not too pricey, and the fish was phenomenal -the pork was good too. The only downside was the lack of seating. Still highly recommend.

The best fish on earth! Go for your fresh fish purchased bit get a plate "special" try the fish with wasabi cream sauce - it's incredible and the butter caper variety good too but it's the fresh , delicate fish that steals the show. Never had such reasonably priced fish either .

We came here as a recommendation from our zip line tour guide, Tim, and it was AMAZING! I got the seared ahi and my husband got the loa loa. There aren't tables or chairs to sit at, but it's definitely worth finding somewhere to sit. Must go!

Great for someone looking for traditional Hawaiian food. Super fresh fish, amazing poke & yummy plate lunch. I tried to get here 3 separate times, but came to late. 3rd time was a charm & was well worth the effort... I highly recommend this place.

Amazing!!!! So good we went back for lunch again the next day. As an added bonus it is really just a small hole in the wall place so you really feel like you are getting the local experience. If you are in Kauai you MUST go here!

Delicious!. Our favorite meal of all during our week-long stay on Kauai! We ordered plate lunches and I still can't decide whether I liked the lau lau or kalua more - both were outstanding! Also our first introduction to poke & lomi lomi, new favorites! ...We went to Smith's luau the next day and were disappointed after the high bar that Koloa Fish Market set on kalua and lomi! It made us instant snobs :) Can't recommend more! Be prepared to be treated a bit frosty, but it's not a come-in-and-have-a-seat sort of place. We ate ours by the beach and lots of people were asking about it - the smell will carry and make everyone jealous!

I was worried that the kim chee spices might be too spicy for me, but they were not at all. Rather providing a more pickled flavor associated with the Korean side dish.
