One of the best shave ice on the island. Everyone has their personal preference about which they prefer. This was recommended to us by several locals and did not disappoint. The fresh fruit, real fruit syrups, coconut cream, and honey make for a delicious combination. The only downside is that seating is limited, and parking can be somewhat hard to find if it’s busier.

This is the best shave ice in town! The fruit toppings are all fresh and delicious. The owner was also so accommodating and nice to our kids and even gave us a replacement shave ice when a chicken jumped and got our little one's treat. We come here every time we're visiting and will always keep it on our list.

We’ve had MANY different shave ice in Hawaii over the years. Waikomo is hands down the absolute best!! Real fruit juices and fantastic texture of the ice (seems obvious but that’s not a given at many other places). And then topped with pieces of fruit and haupia (coconut cream). Amazing. We’ve been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Can’t wait to come back in a few days! (Variety of pix attached from our visits over the years)

Friendly team who helped us with our passion fruit and guava shave ice + Mac nut ice cream.
It was topped off with a little diced pineapple and (coconut?) cream.
Outside, ice was crunchy while inside, it was very smooth and soft.
I found it easier to scoop from the inside outward.
Mac nut ice cream was actual nuts at the bottom. (Nut allergy warning)
Plenty for 2 people to share a single, regular order.
Flavors are lovely and fresh, not too sweet and very enjoyable.
Located in the far back right corner of the parking lot.
Seating along the stone wall of the market.
Parking can get a little limited with the market and burrito shop and others.

The reviews don’t lie. Best shave ice on the island. Mine was strawberry and mango. Treat yourself and get the ice cream AND the coconut condensed milk. Literally still dreaming about this amazing slide of heaven. It was even better than Lappert’s ice cream. The only thing I would have done differently is gotten the ice cream without mac nuts because I was regretting having to chew them at the end. Husband got lime and orange or something weird and wasn’t a fan, so think about your flavors, I guess! :)

This was my first Hawaiian Shaved Ice. It was delicious. I shared it with my husband so it was nice to have the two different flavors on each side. The honey and coconut cream on top added a lovely sweetness. My husband enjoyed the fresh pineapple on top. We both thought we would never be able to finish it all, but it was pretty easy to eat it every bite!

Best shaved ice in Kauai! We tried quite a few shaved ice places during our stay but this one was hands down the best one. The natural syrup flavor here could not be beat anywhere else, especially the guava one felt like you were eating the actual fruit on your ice. The price is also reasonable. There could be a wait but it’s not too bad and totally worth it. The shaved ice looks and tastes delicious! Will be one of the first stops next time I’m in Kauai!

First time trying shave ice and I picked this place based on others reviews. My daughter got Raspberry/Blood Orange and it was good. I chose Guava/Passion Fruit flavors and they were both very strange tasting. Maybe because most of the guava and passion fruit flavors we are used to are fake and these flavors were real. Great service, nice presentation, but the flavors just weren't what I was expecting.

Amazing place for shaved ice just outside the local market. Lots of choices and super fresh ingredients, and not the sugary syrups that you see at other places.
Be aware it’s closed Friday but open 12 to 5 every other day. Highly recommended.

Take all my money. Easily the best shaved ice on the island. The flavors are fresh tasting, not artificial, and the ice is fluffy not crunchy. The toppings make it all that much better. If you see a line, just wait. It’s worth it.

Such a great atmosphere! The owner is so kind and welcoming and the location is perfect! The shaved ice is amazing! Fresh fruit on top with so many flavors, such a great experience and the best shaved ice I’ve had Maui! Highly recommend, you shouldn’t miss out!

The shave ice here was absolutely incredible! I had Lychee and Passionfruit and both flavors were delicious! This is easily the best shave ice I’ve had on Kauai and I liked it so much I’m planning to go get another one tomorrow.

Hands down the best shaved ice on the island. All of the ingredients are organic & taste incredible. I’ve tried a combination of just about every flavor they have and they are all sooo good. Especially with the ice cream in the center! Mango/Passion fruit, Coconut/Blackberry, etc. I wish they had punch cards because it’s my favorite spot!

This was the most expensive shave ice I had, and also the smallest. I probably wouldn’t purchase this shave ice again unless I was really craving shave ice and this was the only place nearby. It was fine, nothing special about it. I ordered mango and passionfruit, and I had the lychee topping. The passionfruit was a bit too sour for my liking, but still enjoyable. The topping was very good, and so was the mango. After trying other shave ice, it just didn’t stand out to me. Service was good as well.

Wow! Can’t say enough great things about this place! The ambiance is awesome (has a patio) & they stayed open a few minutes late for us! Super accommodating and nice. They suggested shaved watermelon and it was sooo good!
