Olds River Inn Restaurant - Kodiak - Photo album

We were out there on Kodiak for a military free health care mission for the islanders. This insane find in the middle of the island was INCREDIBLE. Food, people, location…all incredible. Hope it hasn’t changed.
08/19/2023: Pit stop for lunch before heading to the spaceport and Fossil Beach. Really great menu options. Ordered Halibut cheeks and filet. Very satisfied. Staff was friendly. Clean and open setting.
Awesome food and service! We did not stay in the cabins but enjoyed the restaurant! Great food and bar choices! Would absolutely recommend this being a go to place on the island.
Excellent food in a very relaxed atmosphere. And if you can snag one of the chairs on the deck with a great view of the mountains, it's even better. Note this is definitely a local's place, so you may wait or be shut out without a reservation - but chill with one of their excellent beers and relax
Definitely the best restaurant I went to in Kodiak in the week I visited. A local recommended it and I was hesitant to make the long drive, but it was absolutely worth it. The beer is good, and the herb crusted halibut was fantastic! The space has a great view, and all the workers were friendly.
Worth a shot. Had a rough visit awhile back ago, but the owner who is always present, had asked us to give them a second shot and they did not disappoint. the Bacon Wrapped Halibut bites were truly great, and were only made better with the dijon sauce. Their Children's menu is smaller than most othe
Hands down the best restaurant and brewery on the entire island. The owner spent time to talk to me and make sure everything was perfect. I had the blackened salmon and it was without a doubt the best seafood I’ve had in years. I will make it a point to come here on a regular basis
We had a wonderful stay at Olds River Inn. The owners, Mary and Fred, were very accommodating, knowledgeable about the area, and very helpful. Their staff was friendly and helpful too. We stayed in one of their cabins, went on a side-by-side adventure, and enjoyed a great dinner on the restaurant's
I had blackened red salmon with mashed potatoes and it was the best salmon I've ever had. It wasn't listed but it also came with roasted asparagus. If you like porters, I highly recommended their's. Other people in the party had the ribeye burger and king crab mac n cheese and they loved their meals
My dad and my Step MaMa Mary had Absolutely the best restaurant that we ate at on Kodiak Island! The fish and chips were awesome and the onions rings were the best I have had and that is including the lower 48! Thanks for the great service and very personable staff. Margaret Blair, Phil & Mary Fos
Best restaurant on Kodiak, no questions asked. The apps are always on point (especially their hot wings), the menu is constantly changing depending on what they have on hand, and the waitstaff is always ready to steer you in the right direction. It's a drive to get there but it sure is worth it!
Pasta was amazing and the clam appetizer sauce was good enough to be a soup. No Wi-Fi though and I felt the pork sandwich didn't come with enough BBQ sauce. The waitress brought me a cup right away when I asked so she was pretty friendly.
Great food, great beer, great atmosphere. Had two of their in house brews and was blown away by the flavors of each. I also enjoyed a superb burger and the delectable bacon wrapped halibut.
Very nice Yellow Eye preparation, good in-house beers, very friendly and attentive staff. Others had the burger and raved about it. Will certainly return my next visit to Kodiak.
The best food, great service, awesome views. We will be back!!!!!
