Applebee's

My husband was passing through and decided to get us some steak and shrimp Steak was over cooked so bad it is black and hard like it’s two days old can not cut with knife shrimp is black ! 60 dollars worth of steak can not eat! Would not recommend any take out from here! Waste of money and gas is to high to travel from Kingston to take it back !

Though the service was good, the waiter we has was great, but the food and the atmosphere brought the experience down. Overhearing the manager having conversations with the waiters and hostess by the front door about the deadness of the restaurant and how much money its making vs the manager other restaurant making more money a day inviting the waiter to come over to his other store kinda left a bad taste. Speaking of taste, my wife and I got the chicken and shrimp off the 2 plates for $30 deal and got the salad for start. The salad just a bowl of lettuce and we had to ask for cheese and more dressing to make it a little better. The food came out within 2 minutes of the salads and the chicken was dry, the caramelized onions and mushrooms were raw and not cooked down, the shrimp was good... I had broccoli and my wife had greenbeans which they both were not seasoned. The drink specials we got was the Bahama mama and the star spangled something... the glass was so hot that it made the drink very warm. So we won't be going back for awhile like a extremely long while.

My first time at this Applebees I had a decent experience with friendly staff and food that you would expect at Applebees. I went yesterday and let me just say it was not the same. First not even a welcome, just seated us, waited 5-10 minutes for another less than enthusiastic employee to take our order. Drinks and food came out in a reasonable amount of time. This is where the customer service was straight garbage. My food was not hot, it was Luke warm at best and parts of it were cold like it cam straight out of the refrigerator. When I alerted the waitress she replied with “are you serious, Jesus Christ” and proceeded to take my food back to the kitchen. The manager brought my food back out about 5-10 minutes later and and only says “there you go, we heated that back up for you”. No apology, no new food. Literally just heated up the first plate. And they did discount our bill $5. I’ll never return here. I didn’t feel welcome or valued as a customer at all. Not impressed.
