I am way too old to go to a college bar…. But my son graduated last weekend and wanted us all to go there. Smoking is allowed indoors (ew), the floor has a constant stickiness to it (to be expected), the bartenders kept calling me ma’am (ouch), BUT it was a great experience. Fun atmosphere, good food, and great (cheap!) drinks. Need a little more wine choices for the old ladies like me that come in, but I didn’t expect them to have any, so having 2 choices worked for me. 😜

Been in here a bunch of times, not my go-to but always ended up here at some point...finally tried their burger last night. Honestly for 6 bucks? Very good, close to Carolina Ale House quality. I will be back for another! Great atmosphere and it's spread out enough to accommodate a fun crowd. Won't ever miss out on anything at The Bean.
100% dive bar with super cheap drinks! Great place to relax and have a few drink before you go out for the night. Did try any food and don’t think I would.
Standard beer selection. Great ambient and music. College crowd. Went on a Monday night and it was still pretty lit. Put more meat and cheese on your nachos dude!
Typical college bar. Cheap cold beer, food was on point. Friendly bartenders.
I could make a down payment on a house with the amount of money I spent here in college and that's saying a lot given the pitchers are only $10.
That being said they draw a crowd with a great atmosphere and excellent staff. They earned every penny.
