Waffle House

7 am, Saturday morning. 6 customers, 7 employees. The place was an absolute mess. The old spilled batter around the waffle irons looked really nasty, almost nauseating. The employees were washing and banging pots and pans around in the sink, as if they were 3 days behind. My syrup was cold. My waffle was barely warm. Other than those minor distractions, a good experience. I won’t be back.

My waitress was the best I've ever had. She asked all the right questions. All I could do was smile, I think I've met my future wife. Ask to be seated in Jess' section if you want to leave with a belly full of good food and great conversation. She restored my faith that good people are still out there

I stopped by for a late breakfast, around 11am, at this WH a few days ago. I went in and was greeted by SILENCE. No one welcomed me. I looked around: 4 customers in the store; 3 employees. I sat at the far right at the counter and waited. And waited. And waited. No one spoke to me. 1 to 2 minutes The cook had his back to me, of course, he was working. Another employee was headed my way from the far left, but, she stopped to talk to the cook with her back to me. 2 to 3 minutes Still, no one paid me any heed. I left: unseen, unnoticed, I was invisible.

Very good. I ordered a blueberry waffle and a bacon, egg, and hash brown bowl. It was better then anything I ever ordered from IHOP or a Denny's restaurant. Also the gentleman that was working was helpful and ran over to the door to help me and my boyfriend since currently I'm hurt and using a walker to get around.

Horrible service. Two waitresses were being disrespectful of another. Call in orders took precedent over seated patrons. One of our orders came out fast, 2nd got his 20 minutes later, I NEVER got mine although I asked about the delay. Finally had it removed from the bill. The two waitresses chastised the other waitress when she tried to help get seated customers orders to their tables. The unprofessional behavior and public rudeness was terrible. Personally, I have been a waitress. The two waitresses should be fired.
