I went twice in one week, I enjoyed it that much. Our service was good, not at your table every 5 minutes, but attentive enough and very friendly. Sushi was fresh and well portioned in my opinion. I love their crab rangoons, best I've had in a while. Will definitely be making a trip there again soon.

Thatplace is so gross... When we sat down to order you could feel the bumps and stickiness under our hands. When we asked a bartentender if we could have a towel to clean it she wiped it off but stop and I pointed to a spot and she said that wasn't coming up and wiped it some more. And it came up. But our spot was still sticky and bumpy and we wiped it with our napkin and our napkin turned gray And then we went to your bathroom and it looked worse than a bathroom at a truck stop. We had already ordered but we just left. Because if your bathroom and bar were that gross.. How bad is the kitchen The table behind us looked like a dumpster and there wasn't any tissue in one of the stalls

After discovering Market Square a few weeks ago my wife and I popped over (a 1-hour drive) to walk around and explore the area. We went to Kabuki for dinner and there was a bit if a wait because they only had 2 servers, but they were up front about it and communicated with us so we didn't mind waiting and being patient while the two of them worked their tails off. In spite of this shortage, the service was good and while they were obviously stressed they backed each other up and never dropped their smile or seemed rushed in their customer interactions. We ordered a crab salad, Kabuki Bowl, a couple of cocktails, and a few rolls. The food was nicely presented, fresh, and delicious. A bonus was the Hula Hoop group and violin playing in the market square! P.S. parking is free after 6pm!!!

Hate to knock on this place as I really did enjoy it for the first while it was open, however Kabuki is more like Kadookie at this point. I accept that sushi is typically more expensive than other food, but I also expect full plates when paying 60+ for two people to eat. The food isn’t bad, it just doesn’t match the price that you have to pay, this isn’t an issue at the two other sushi restaurants within walking distance of kabuki. More importantly the restaurant has really become downright nasty. Firstly it’s just not that clean in the restaurant. I literally had to peal open the menu today as it was stuck together with some sort of sticky substance. The couches and pillows that they often seat people at are also just gross. The couches themselves are old cracked fake leather and aren’t comfortable at all. They also have nasty pillows on them that I’m sure haven’t been washed in a good while. I genuinely hope they can turn this place around as these weren’t issues before, but I’m worried it may be too late.

We were really excited to try this place, always looking for good sushi and we found some here! We ate every bite! The place has a very downtown late night vibe. It was easy to get a seat and comfortable. The staff was sweet and honest. The food was quick and delicious, we’ll be back!

Food tastes good but very small portions of meat in the hibachi (at least half compared to typical restaurants). I am usually full or have leftovers for a $15 dollar plate but I left still hungry.
