Horrible experience! My granddaughter and I eat at this Petro's every Monday either before or after ice skating. Julia's was very runny and just a few Fritos. I politely asked them to remake it and they VERY rudely refused. An 8yr old little girl's Petro? Unbelievable. We went to the one in Farragut and the Petro was perfect!

Great service with nice workers. We ate inside, although this place is mainly for driving through. Petro's is a classic and it's really awesome that they do catering now. It's hard to believe that they've been in business since 1985 and longer. I am never disappointed. Like I mentioned though, I give them a 4 star review since the dining area wasn't great. But, they're a drive through place. So, don't expect wonders inside.

I have loved this place until today. I received an order that was cold and already had chips in ot and they were so soggy (theyve come on the side the last 5 times ive ordered) and there was no chili on my to go order and that's never happened its like I got someone els order I was scared to even eat it because I didn't trust it.

Excellent food, has been years since I ate there, always forget about the place. In and out no problem, fast and friendly

The food was okay but the staff was friendly. They basically sell chili bowls, nachos, hot dogs, and baked potatoes. I really liked the fact that they offer vegetarian chili and chicken chili. My daughter got her food with vegetarian chili, I got chicken chili, and my husband got regular chili.
The biggest issue here was lack of seasoning. The chili is supposed to be the star of the dish and mines was very bland. I had to add hot sauce to it. Plus the Fritos at the bottom were cool but I wish I would have gotten the lettuce instead.
There are three kids meal options. My daughter had the Mac and cheese which came with a tasty cookie and a juice box.
This location is small and it looks like it’s primarily for drive through. The inside was clean and spacious enough to sit down. The bathrooms are on the outside of the building but they were clean and well stocked.

35 years ago Petro's had locations around Nashville including downtown. Besides the great flavor, what stood out was the difference in temperature within a single cup of chili and chips. The toppings were nice and cold while the chili was hot.
This experience had good flavor, but everything was just sort of warm - and it was eaten just 2-3 minutes after receiving the order. The other thing was how sparing they were with the jalapenos when I asked for extra. Wait, I think they charged extra for those 3-4 spicy nubs. Either way, it was all good but not great. I just expected more.

Petro bowl was great! Sweet tea was.... Unique, had a very distinct flavor, not sure what the signature was but it was not my favorite but worth trying .

Somehow a kids meal with one hotdog was more expensive than the two-hotdog combo... it was okay, but they left off the tomatoes and green onion from my petro dog, even though I was charged extra for them. Definitely check your order before you drive away.
