Cook Out

This was a burger I ordered cheddar style. Not once did I ever say extra onions. However, this seems deliberate. That’s a whole onion! I keep trying this place hoping they will redeem themselves. If it isn’t the food being terrible and just wrong, it’s the staff being extremely rude. I think we will stop giving chances and drive a little further to a different location. Get it together.

Diamond is sooo rude! She talks way to fast then gets an attitude when you have to ask her what she’s said. The car in front of me told her she was rude at the intercom and when they moved forward to pay the manager had to take over. When you have had multiple people complain on one person maybe you should rethink their position in your company! Customer service requires you to be a people person or at least friendly and respectful!

The burgers were certainly hand made and while they were nothing fancy, they were decent. My single burger was thicker than both patties put together on my dad's double - not sure how that works out. The real issue was the shakes, which were absolutely awful! Not a single person in my family finished theirs. They tasted like nothing and were mostly ice, don't know if there was actually any dairy in them. Definitely wouldn't be back.

Before I was at a complete stop at the menu board, the young lady was asking what I wanted to order. When I asked for a moment, she sounded put off in her reply of "Ok, let me know when you're ready." I placed my order and it was ready very quickly, which is terrific, however, she took my card, swiped it, and handed it back saying, "You're good to go, have a nice day." No receipt, no offer for a receipt, just a dismissal.... Food was good, but with how quickly I was sent on my way, and not offered a receipt, I doubt I'll return.

Drove into the drive through with the family. Line was 7 cars deep. I figured this was fine, I don’t mind waiting a few minutes for cookout. Proceed to wait 20+min and only two cars had gotten their food. Such an absurd wait time is understandable if they were having a malfunction of some sort, but they should have at least the decency of sending someone out and letting people know the wait was going to be that long. Luckily three people behind me all pulled out so I could escape.

Do not....I repeat...DO NOT eat here! Worst Cook Out in the area. It had been years since I ate here, but I made the mistake of visiting again today. First of all, you can't understand a word coming out of the speaker at the drive thru, because it's so LOUD. I ordered my usual regular size burger today, & at least 3 bites were nothing but bun. Remember that commercial...."Where's the beef?" It applies here. Then, there's the rudeness. Yes, I realize working at a fast food drive thru might not be your dream job, but it is still a job. And you're suppose to be friendly & courteous to your customers...the few that you have...if you want them to come back. Well, rest assured, I won't be coming back. Ever.

I normally frequent the Cook Out on Cumberland Ave. I went thorough the drive-thru at the Kingston Pike location because it was closer to where we were shopping. I ordered 4 "trays" of food. The young mad tried handing all 4 of the food containers to me at once. I asked if there is a bag that he could put them in? He turned muttered something under his voice to another a lady employee and they both looked at me and laughed. One of the sad things is, that there was a stack of bags within arms reach of him, so not sure what the issue was there. The other sad thing is, that when I got home there was literally 2 spoons worth of coleslaw for my side. Maybe they were laughing because the joke was on me?
