Double Dogs

Excellent food and atmosphere. Had the Buffalo chicken tender sandwich-perfect, the sauce was just right! The fries were good, just needed extra salt. Cole slaw- crispy, not your average cole slaw-very good!!!! The Buffalo Mac and cheese was great as well- lots there, lots of chicken in it, the flavor was perfect! We’ll definitely come back! Gabby was a great waitress!

I want to start by saying that the vibe of this place, the look and the whole atmosphere is super fun and chill. They have a great indoor and outdoor area. They are dog friendly and play into the dog house thing. Our server was great and all the staff we interacted with were great! The reason for the 2 stars is because of the food…there wasn’t a single person at our table while loved their entree…the pasta salad had zero flavor and wasn’t what we were expecting. The double dogs which is literally the name of the place seemed like grocery store hotdogs or Kroger buns. The salad was meh. The burger was SO salty I was choking it down. Our biggest issue was the sauces, the coleslaw tasted like straight mayo, as for the ranch and the dressing for the pasta. It was majorly disappointing…

The one thing that Knoxville lacks is a great wings place... Well I think this could become my favorite wings place. It checks all the boxes. The atmosphere is really good. Their facilities are clean. The building is awesome with cool indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was great (Catelyn is a rock star waitress) the crunchy wings are unique and very delicious. My only complaint is the onion rings suck but that is super minor.i really think this place is worthy of a visit.

This is a very welcoming place service is always top notch. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and very attentive. It can get very busy because it is one of the very few places around that feels like a Hometown bar. The double fried wings are some of the best ever. Their gluten free options are limited but limited but they have gone out of their way their way to be helpful and extremely careful for guests. If you are near this restaurant you will not be disappointed.
