Preservation Pub

I have been to the rooftop beer garden several times now and always have an amazing time. Their London mules are excellent!!! (London mule is a Moscow mule made with gin instead of vodka), they have green tea shots, great beer. Such an incredible atmosphere to come and catch up with friends. The views are gorgeous and the decor takes it over the top. Will definitely return.

I would recommend this place as a MUST GO place in Knoxville. My boyfriend and I had a quick trip to Knoxville and were only there for one weekday evening. The ambiance and service were incredible! There was a cheap cover at the door (about $3 I think) but it was more than worth it. They have three levels, each with a different “vibe” which is so cool. Bottom floor had a live band playing great music with a bar and booths to sit down and get some food. Second floor was more of a bar and dance area with popular songs played and lights dimmed. The third floor is a roof top bar with awesome decorations and lighting. We had food on the first floor and listened to the band when we first arrived and had no idea there were additional stories. As we were about to leave we ventured upstairs just to take a look and ended up having two more drinks on the roof. Like I said, even if you’re in town for just a night, stop in and take a look around!

It was nearly 1am and we were desperately in need of some food and wanted to enjoy a drink after our three flights from the west coast. This was the only place open and we came in to find live music concluding their sets. We had a great experience and our server was superb, but we’re highly surprised that they were smoking😶‍🌫️🤯. Other than smoking we have great memories of this pub. Happy holidays🎄

Live Music | Good Music | Decent Bar | Suffocating Environment The lighting and sound in this pub is decent - optimal for attending a live performance in a pub. The 3-storey building is pretty good and always very happening. They have decent artists playing always. On the Friday night I visited, they were featuring a Progressive Rock band - that's a genre I really like! Having said that, I'm not too sure about the smoke-friendly environment in the pub. All the smoke was suffocating and I could barely be there for 5 minutes.

Wow I have been aching for a real dive bar for ages. Reasonably priced drinks, “pub” food (a whole pizza for $9???), and a relatively clean bathroom?? Count me in. Three levels means something for everyone. We stayed on level one for music, which was fantastic. Cant recommend enough. Beware that if you’re not vaccinated this is not the place for you. Being fully vaccinated, I was comfortable grabbing a booth. Put distance between me and others and our server (so freaking sweet) wore a mask. Other employees were just not wearing one and 90% of the customers walked in without one as well. Otherwise, grab a booth, a beer, a pizza, and have a night for the books.
