One of the best breakfast I've had, ever! Worth the drive from Highlands Ranch. Place gets busy and they don't seat incomplete parties so keep that in mind. If you can't find something you'll like on the menu then you aren't hungry! WOW!
Fantastic Food & Staff. We dine here almost every weekend. Fantastic food and staff. Never rude. Food to die for.
I was at the restaurant when the the recent less than excellent reviews were received. The disgruntled customers appeared drunk and we're loud and throwing out the F-bomb to everyone in the cafe. It is clearly posted on the cafe entry that "No outside drinks are allowed", probably for liability purposes. There is even a small shelf for folks to place outside drinks, right next to the sign, should they want to save them for later. The staff tried very politely to ask these disgruntled customers to please take there drinks outside.
Hands down the best place to have breakfast or lunch in the Denver foothills! Highly recommend!!
Large serving sizes. Great flavor. Nice outdoor seating area. Good place to eat breakfast on a Saturday morning motorcycle ride. Regularly lukewarm & weak coffee is my only complaint. I like it piping hot!
Excellent Lunch!!. I love this place. It is a good stand by for breakfast and lunch. I think they are open until 2 or 3pm? I always bring guests and recommend to people from out of town and they rave about it. The truffle fries are an excellent choice and it is fun to order from the creative menu.
Great Breakfast and Lunch. Huge, creative, menu and usually a few specials. The benedicts are good and interesting. Lots of potatoes. Smashed breakfasts are enough to feed 2-3 people. Then there are potatoes on the side. Go early or expect to wait and/or sit out on the patio. They have heaters out there but it is just protected with plastic. We try to get there by 830am on the weekends because we don't like to wait. They fill up as there are only 10 tables inside.
Lunch is good and interesting too. Again, don't forget to check out the special before you order. Good stuff. Large portions. One older couple always brings their own Tupperware for leftovers.
Waitstaff has always been pleasant and provided great service to us. Seems like a team effort so you don't have to wait for "your" server for more coffee or water.
Go early for breakfast or later for lunch. They close at 145pm.
Fabulous food, great environment, rediculously large portions. a perfect Sunday brunch location. the only downside is the popularity--which may cause a wait, but it's well worth it. as they say, " good things come..."
Visited from Chicago, and my boyfriend and I love trying new diners. This one was amazing, I had the best cinnamon roll ever! Highly highly recommended
I'm a big fan of corned beef hash. But finding a spot for this fan is such a big frustration. I have a few places in mind- but it's like a skinny serving and somewhere along the line I wasn't satisfied.
Country Road Cafe has ended that search. 🙏.
If you're still reading I'm guessing you're a corned beef hash fan too? Or just plain curious. Either way, it's all good. If you decide to head out to Country Road Cafe it's under their Heaps of Hash in their menu. There's four different kinds priced at $13.95 and I've tried two of them(see photos): The Corned Hash Bowl and Bison Hash Bowl. All fully loaded with well seasoned crunchy potatoes and your specific protein. Topped with two poached eggs and hollandaise sauce for the Corned Beef one.
It was the best! Thick strips of corned beef! Omg! The Bison one was equally tasty!
For now they only accept dining in their spacious patio. Do this when you arrive. Order from the window next to the front door. Head over to their patio and your food will be brought to you!
I took home most of mine. Ate the leftover this morning and I'm still very much happy with it.
They're closed Monday and Tuesday. Their hours are: 7-1:30ish ( their exact words😂).
It worth the drive in every aspect. You're welcome! 😆
Delicious food and large portions (sharable if looking for a lighter lunch). We ordered the Elk Sausage Smash and the Fried Steak Smash and shared the pound cake french toast with ice cream and berry compote. Everything was really delicious! Great outdoor atmosphere, clean restroom, and just a short walk to the park make this a great stop!
Since 1999 I have come down from my house. A block away breakfast and lunch are great. Some times there's a line to get in. Great food and atmissfer
Good food, small and cozy inside. The eggs were buttery and delicious the biscuits and gravy we're good but lacking some flavor in my opinion. The place is small and cozy. Good service. serve everything I'm Togo boxes and cups due to covid, even if you eat in. I kinda liked that though

Great place. Great portion sizes... Good taste, and nice location. Small interior, especially with covid restrictions, but it all works out.
