Lovebirds Donuts

Wow, now this is a great donut shop! We enjoyed the decor and the layout of the shop is great. Also lots of places to sit and enjoy your donut with coffee. Great variety of donut flavors from very inventive to old school flavors. Steady stream of traffic the whole time we were there. This store is well worth the visit, highly recommended!

these are seriously amazing donuts!!! we drove from MA on our way to acadia to grab them, and i literally am planning my next trip up here just for these donuts. there is not one bad thing to be said about this place. the people working are SUPER friendly and awesome. the coffee is also awesome. my non vegan partner even loved them and he's hard to please with vegan foods. thank you for existing lovebirds donuts, i will be seeing you again soon

Lovebirds is easily in my top 5 list of best donuts I’ve ever had! I’m so glad that we stopped before the end of our Kittery trip. Their March menu had some great flavors, and my personal favorite was the brownie batter one. The ganache they use is rich, but not overwhelming, and the donut itself is soft but had that little crisp to the outer shell that you want. I also didn’t realize until later that all of their options are vegan! Nothing about the taste tipped me off, which was impressive. I will 100% be stopping again when I’m in the Kittery area, or I might even pull off the highway any time I’m in Maine now!

Excellent donuts! This place has a wonderful selection of donuts which changes monthly, these are not sub par quality so you won't be buying them for cheap, but you will be paying for more a specialty treat that is worth the price of a tasty treat. They have a great selection of specialty drinks which again are a bit pricey but they are better quality than chain coffee shops and you aren't paying much different than a drink from a chain coffee store. This is well worth your time, and bonus, though not clearly advertised, it is vegan friendly, which a non vegan would never realize. They also have a large selection of gluten free donuts they make as well, which is nice for anyone who is gluten free.

These donuts are sinfully good. Take me to church for I have sinned, I ate all the donuts with no regrets. My personal favorite is the strawberry shortcake. Good luck eating this bad boy without a fork, challenge yourself, make a mess, YOLO. Live your best life, stop here and buy the donuts. Woah and they're vegan!!
