We drive truck and come to Maine a couple times a year. We have an rv size semi so we let the fridge and freezer get low so we can stock up at Taylor's. I love making homemade lobster mac and cheese, clam chowder, grilled scallops (mmmmm). On our way to Lewistown now. LOOK OUT TAYLOR'S HERE WE COME. Enough room to park our 83' tractor-trailer and right off I95.

Not very sure about most of their products. But, I can tell you that I used to go there to get shrimp cocktail. which you think would be fresh. I would stop about every other week on my way home from work. I live about 30 minutes from there.When it's fresh it's great. Now a little bit fishy isn't so bad. but when you eat one and almost puke because of the taste something is wrong. The very next time I went I told the person behind the counter and she apologised up and down. Figured a bad batch maybe. But it continues. Pretty sad when a grocery store has fresher shrimp cocktail that a fresh fish market. Obviously they would rather sell not so fresh shrimp cocktail to make profit than lose a few bucks here and there. HELLO PEOPLE make it fresh daily with fresh shrimp. UPDATE...maybe I caught a bad couple batches of shrimp on my previous review.Ive been back a couple times since my last review. But credit where credit is due...... So for mother's day I stopped in and got 2- 1 1/2 hard shell lobsters 2+ pounds of haddock fillets and 1 pound of cocktail shrimp. Samantha was very helpful with my online order. She made sure everything was exactly what I wanted. Everything was great. No fishy smell 1 rib bone on the haddock ..... That's pretty hard to do. Got a male and female lobster too.... Best of both worlds tail meat of the female and claws of the male..... Thank you. And I can't forget their homemade cocktail sauce is amazing!!! Probably the best we have ever had. And their homemade tartar sauce is pretty damn good too. They made a good mother's day even better for my wife.

Every year in May we order lobster meat shipped to Colorado for a special family members birthday treat. Each year we so look forward to our dinner. This year, 2021, the company that shipped the lobster had some big problems. Down to the wire, we had to go to the warehouse to pick up the box. Inside the box, the icy cold lobster is now history, gobbled down by our family, we are grateful to the fishermen, and the lobsters! Taylor Lobster made a special call late in the business day, worried that the shipper had missed their connection. We want you to know how much we appreciate the high quality of your seafood, and your above and beyond customer service.

I placed my first order based on the positive online reviews. Here I am to write my own review as my experience with Taylor Lobster was absolutely terrific. I ordered 7 cooked lobsters which were delivered overnight. The delivery was guaranteed to be delivered by 8pm the following day and luckily it arrived via FedEx just in time for an early dinner. The lobsters were sweet and made my celebration dinner over the top amazing. I love lobster but don’t have a pot big enough to fit them all in, Taylor Lobster makes it quick and easy. Folks on the phone are super friendly and polite. I would not hesitate to order from here again.
