Review Anneke Jans - Kittery

Absolutely amazing time and amazing food. Our server Erik was very friendly and nice. I would highly recommend anyone to come here. Making a reservation is the best option for when you come.

My husband and I came up from Boston for an event and later ate dinner here for the first time. It had a really upbeat vibe, the drinks were amazing and the food was excellent. Our waitress was attentive and super friendly. The owner accommodated my request for a table away from the crowd and he was delightful. Look forward to going again!

All the food and drink was delicious! Our server was very nice and helpful. Their dessert was absolutely delectable, especially the bread pudding. In conclusion, I would highly recommend dining at the fine establishment Anneke Jans.

This is one our favorites, and again this past weekend did NOT disappoint. Great staff and hands down the Bolognese is bar none! We also had salad and the duck. All fabulous in such a cozy romantic setting.

At Most restaurants the vegetarian option is usually an after-thought, but here the vegetarian option was spectacular!!!! I literally scrapped my plate with my fork! The drink were amazing!!! This is my new favorite place!!

Before you reserve at Anneke Jans be sure to ask when they want you to vacate your table. We were told we had one hour and 45 minutes only after we ordered our drinks and appetizers. The food cannot stand out when eating so quickly. In fact, when we mentioned our concerns to the maitre d' he responded that too many "people sit and talk for half an hour after eating." When I pointed out that is part of fine dining, he shrugged. No loyalty from of for this restaurant.

Got the steak frites . Very tasty. That is if you like a 4 ounce potion for 22 dollars and a plate full of shoestring fries (sans vegetables) and cold bread for the table. Disappointing to say the least. Won't be back

This is the finest restaurant that I've ever been to and I've been fortunate to eat at many fine restaurants. The level of sophistication and expertise shown in the cooking processes is second to none. Every dish is memorable and every soup of the day inventive and delicious. From the drinks to the desserts, everything is top notch. The location is fortunate because in a major city, they could probably charge 2-3 times and no one would bat an eye.
