Was in the mood for some Puerto Rican food and this place came up. Decided to take a chance and it was worth it. The food was delicious and definitely one of the better Latino restaurants around. I saw they place music but not sure at what time. Definitely come try this place out. If you’re feeling stuffed after your meal we’ll you’re in luck. There’s a Ross store next store to walk of that delicious food!

I’ve been here several times, food is always fresh and delicious. Music playing is on point! Service is friendly and caring. For those saying the food took long, stay home and cook. Thank you!

An absolute ClusterF@ck is the only way I can describe the experience. We had called ahead to give them a heads up that there would be 8 in our party. After 10 min of waiting around and watching the server playing with her phone behind the counter we asked if we could order our drinks and appetizers. We could tell that it was going to be a hassle so we decided to put in our main courses. Mind you, the menu is super limited so it should be that difficult to prepare. Additionally, most of us ordered the same thing, onion steak, red bean and white rice. It took 35min for even 2 plates to come out, not to mention the 3 appetizers where nowhere to be found. Another 15 min for the child plate of fries and nuggets to come out. After asking where my food was, she had not written it down so, no food for me. Spend over an hour and half and only 5 of our party had received their food. I just left and the rest of my party stayed. I guess they enjoy being tortured.
Last thing to mention, they have music playing but it is absolutely too loud to dine comfortably in. I absolutely LOVE Salsa music but Damn!
Being Kissimmee, there are way too many other places to get Puerto Rican Food to put up with that nonsense.
Save your sanity and dine elsewhere.

On Tuesday May 19th, my business partner and I entered this restaurant aprox at 7:30 pm after a long day of work. We went inside, we sat down patiently waiting to be acknowledged,Everyone was busy taking pictures and they saw us but not even a smile or a hello they just looked at us!. We felt like we interrupted something. After waiting we got up and still not a word from any of them. They really need to work on their customer service skills 😒 after that we took our business to Maracas restaurant where we were treated with courtesy.

It was my first time today. Waitress was not friendly at all. I had shrimps a la aji with rice and beans. Food had good flavor, but the portion of food was too small for the price. I was disappointed!

If you’re looking for an island experience, this is The Spot! With domino tables greeting you before you walk in the restaurant to walking into salsa, merengue and even live karaoke/instrument playing! The atmosphere is truly an amazing experience and a joy to be around! Now, let’s talk about the star of the show, the food! Regrettably, I did not take a picture of the beautifully plated mofongo con chicharrón de pollo! So let me inform, it is my go to dish and I haven’t had it in a while but, tonight! Tonight, I realized why every time I crave, Mofongo con chicharrón de pollo, I think of El Nuevo Ponce! The chicken is so well seasoned and ever so juicy with a mojo giving a refreshing taste when you dip the crispy chicken to perfectly matching the mofongo! I even used the mojo to eat the salad that comes with the meal, and the cohesiveness of it all makes it an overall 10 out of 10! I really hope this review brings you to at least taste it the meal, or even enjoying a night out in your island or an island you’d like to visit soon! God bless you and yours!
