La Alegria Restaurant

Alberto and Eliana are a husband and wife team who create masterpieces of the peasant Venezuelan cuisine. “Certain dishes take a while and sometimes people get angry, but that is the process” for these genuine wood fire morsels of the tastiest beef I have had in recent memory.  We were charmed, enlightened and fully sated. On a scale of 1 to 5 stars, I would have to give them a six; if only because they checked every box, and this, after only seven months in business! We are coming back. 😋❤️

This review was due for 2 weeks when we visited Kissimmee. This place is amazing, wonderful food and spectacular service from Eliana la rubia. The meat was perfect cooked and tasty as well as everything we ordered. They have enjoyable live music and karaoke, the manager was there and also super attentive and accommodating, we had a wonderful night, I highly recommend this place, thank you everyone !!!!

The authenticity, quality and price of the food was on point on the other hand we were dining with another couple, they were seated at the same table, but we paid for our food separately and we were charged 18 percent for service. This was very unprofessional and dishonest coming from the waitress because being aware of this fact she did not have the integrity to warn us of this charge when she brought out the device to pay and it shows the screen to ask you how much tip you want to leave. In other words, the so-called "viveza venezolana" is also part of the authentic experience.She ended up with a hefty that I I hope she needs more than we do. 😒.keep this in mind when you visit this place. On the other hand, in the bathroom there is a sign warning NOT TO dispose of toilet paper in the toilet but instead, to place it in the wastebasket 🤮. This is unhygienic and gross, and goes against the sanitation measures of a restaurant’s in this country.
