Love to support local and this family-owned spot is awesome. Great dogs and friendly folks, also enjoyed the chick fila. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

I'm always searching for quaint little gems tucked away from the madness and Ma's Hot Dog House did not disappoint. Do yourself a favor and swing by to pay these fine folks a visit and sample the menu. The burgers/hot dogs are top notch, and they have ice cream to polish it off!

Stopped by for a quick dinner with the family. Ordered hamburger steak w/ mashed potatoes & string beans, hot dog, cheeseburger, fries, and got a piece of cake. Everything was good and we’ll be returning!

One of my family’s favorite places for a bite to eat. My favorite is the good ole classic hot dog! The French fries are awesome too, that’s what my daughter was chowing on in the picture lol.

A rural country store at first glance looks like a retro gas station ⛽️ from the past...however with all the vehicles parked outside you know something good is going on inside. Glad I stopped because the hotdogs are AMAZING! Very friendly, fast service.

Really a great place on our way to Jacksonville to stop and get a bite to eat. Fantastic food and the owners are so nice. They actually take the time to chit-chat with you. One of my favorite spots.

Charming old-school hot dog stand in a classic (former) gas station. Delicious hot dogs & hamburgers, plus "meat & two" daily specials, breakfasts, home-made desserts and hand-dipped Simply Natural ice cream. Super nice folks.

Out of the way Restaurant. That serves good fast food. A friend and I drove about 25 miles. To buy some meals. I ordered 2 smoked sausage dogs w/chilli, onions, mustard's. A footlong hotdog with everything's. My friend ordered 2 hotdogs w/ everything. A 1 hotdog w/ chili, onions ,and french fries. The foods was good. Hot and full of flavors. The place was crowded. But the wait was not to long. The cost was very reasonable less than $18 total for the both of us. I recommend this restaurant. Just outside of Kinston on Hwy NC 258 towards Jacksonville.

Great throwback to better days, small quality establishment founded in 1970, with a 50’s - 60’s touch - old gas station converted to a diner with a great menu. Very friendly staff, clean and lots of vintage signs & displays. Classic bottled sodas & drinks available. Most folks might drive past it and barely notice it on the country road, but we’ll worth the stop and eat. I think the locals have a hidden treasure here.

I love finding places like this. The burgers and hotdogs were great. The environment in the old country store took me back. Loved it.

Bacon double cheese was delicious and the fried pickles were excellent. Wife reported the hot dogs all the way as also enjoyable. We'll skip the fried cheese curds next time.

One of those beautiful rustic hole in the walls! ❤ one of the last true footlong hotdogs stands. Great food at small Town prices.

I've been visiting Ma's for some time now, at least once a month when I'm in Kinston. I love the hot dogs. They remind me of the kind(Jesse Jones) I grew up eating. Not all hot dogs are made bright red. I'd never had a bright red hot dog until I moved to Johnston Co., NC. My food is always hot and fresh and the workers are very friendly. They treat you like you're part of the family. My son usually gets a cheeseburger and he says that it is always good. The crinkle fries are lightly salted, not buried in it. I wish that I didn't live an hour away. I would visit more often and try some of their delicious-sounding specials.
