Harrel's Kingsvillle Pharmacy

This is a nice local attraction to visit. It is a working pharmacy with a good Old fashion soda fountain that serves good eats and ice cream. Treats. It has a touristy retail shopping are with Kingsville centric gifts. Small-town free street parking is usually convenient. Restrooms are available.

Wow can't believe is still there. I work at the fountain I was a cook my boss her name was Marylou. She was a great boss I had. I lived in Kingsville for 4 years and I moved back to S.A TX. The food is really good. And the people I work for also. This was back in 2004 till 2008 . Keep going to serve the great customers

The restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. Excellent prices on well prepared food. Even the foam plates and plastic silverware can't spoil the quality. The chicken in the taco salad was delicious. The chicken fried steak was tasty and nicely breaded. Flavorful gravy. The chocolate malt was hand made and so good. Service friendly and prompt. This would be our regular if we lived here.

Harrel’s Soda Fountain inside of Harrel’s Drug Co. in Downtown Kingsville, Texas is one of the greatest Soda Fountain’s left in America. It is the LIVING LEGEND and pride of Kingsville! Best chocolate malt. I like the tuna melt myself. Lots of great sandwiches and burgers. And you will not beat the price anywhere!

Jackson was amazing today, Thank you for the service. Now on to the review... this place is a delicious literal hole in the wall. You must walk through the gift shop to find the treasure in the back. Breakfast was so amazing we are coming back to try out lunch next. You MUST have a biscuit, lovingly heavy with the butter and the eggs were cooked perfectly.

After a morning touring the historic territory of the King Ranch and related memorabilia in the King Ranch Museum and then shopping for the Leather Goods and apparel available in the Saddle Shop, why not continue on your nostalgic journey back to a more relaxed time with a visit to the Harrel Drug Store soda fountain & cafe? Hot sandwiches of all types, burgers, fries, and hand made creamy shakes are all available for your dining pleasure. The food is freshly prepared & delicious. They have a special area of the store setup as a cafe, and you could easily imagine this is probably much what it looked like 50+ years ago. Yes there is still an active pharmacy, and a large gift shop. Explore Kingsville & experience a fine example of small town Americana. These are the memories and experiences to build a balanced life on.

I have never used the pharmacy here, but the food is delicious and very inexpensive. For breakfast if the decision is between here and IHOP I choose here Everytime, great breakfast at amazing prices. The burgers are worth it, a good old fashioned burger. They have cherry coke made with syrup. If you want a shake or a malt, come here all their shakes are hand dipped made with real ice cream. There is only one thing I can't recommend here, is their Mexican food, it's not bad, but if you crave Mexican food choose a Mexican restaurant.
