C Gourmet Restaurant

Ordering online was great, but I was disappointed with my food. It was so oily! The spring rolls smelled and tasted like oil and my egg drop soups were slimy instead of a consistency of a broth. I had to throw the soups out. The only thing I ate was the chicken and broccoli. I feel like I wasted my money.

I have been a loyal take-out customer of this establishment for at least 3 years. Over the last year or so the quality and service has declined dramatically. First, if they tell you your order will be ready in 20 minutes, double that to get your accurate time. Second, the place is starting to look like a flea market with an indoor seating area changed to a junk sale and furniture lined up around the outside of the building with signs that state "Yard Sale". The last straw was this evening. My order was finally ready 45 minutes after I called it in. I get home, to find that they included the wrong rice. I drive back to get the right rice, and head home again only to find out they did not include the 4 egg rolls that were supposed to come with our combos. I called and they suggested I drive back again (for those keeping count, that would be my third drive just to have a relaxing dinner in for the evening). After all that, food was dry and cold. Save your sanity and your $$ and try a different establishment; Kingston has plenty.

The food was great! The portion was fantastic for 12 dollars. The food itself was a good mix of veggies and meat. Admitting I prefer my food a little (a lot) spicier, but it was very tasty! The place was pretty quiet but we were there pretty late at night so I'm not surprised. They had an enormous menu of both Chinese classics and sushi. The sushi we ordered had snow crab and a very unique choice of wrapping the sushi in cucumber, which we loved! The service was also fantastic. I didn't catch our server's name, but she seemed like she was relatively new. She was an absolute delight and did a great job. She checked in on us regularly but not too often or too infrequently. She refilled our water promptly. Overall, the place really was fantastic.
