1st time at well known place. Went far left field from comfort order standard I fall into. KUDOS to waitress recommended entree Pork Chop. Legit!! I did get slaw on side vs on top...I ended doing combo slaw and chop on fork......so I would go back and get same dish as supposed with slaw on top.
Eggplant Rollitini app was great, Calamari was in my opinion one to comment

Definitely a restaurant we'll be returning to! Smallish with a great vibe and atmosphere, locally owned and operated.The food and service was delightful. Nice size servings, well worth the prices. The lobster wrap appetizer was decadent and I had a stir fry loaded with fresh veggies in a lightly spiced teriyaki sauce... delicious. Jennifer, our server was so personable, helpful and alert!

I'll get photos next time. I was too busy devouring my dinner. Hollywood oysters, Korean Short Rib Tacos and Diver Scallops with Potato Gnocchi and thick cut bacon. It was great. Service was just as excellent. We sat at the bar. Going again very soon. Menu changes and weekly specials. Second trip I had the Chicken and Dumplings, dumplings are potato gnocchi, soooooo good. My friend had the pot roast. He said it was amazing. Never fails this place is one of the best locally!
One of my favorite places to celebrate a birthday or a special event. Bistro’s atmosphere is cozy and intimate and the drink specials never fail to delight.
Absolutely love this place. From the decor to the drinks to the food... EVERYTHING is just wonderful. My dish - the lobster saffron risotto - was amazing, while my wife's dinner - the chicken francaise - was cooked to perfection. Thanks again Bistro for another wonderful evening!
The food and service are always great. I have tried just about everything on the menu and struggle to pick a favorite as my experiences have always been that good! Try it out, you will enjoy your visit! Sincerely, Dave.

Been a fan of bistro for 20years! Never disappointed....other than when they stopped Monday and Tuesday service(hey we are in a pandemic I get it! Lol) Rich and Mike took the place over a few years ago(thinking like 10 now) and have only made it that much better. Rich is one of my favorite chefs running. As someone in the restaurant business I only ate at places I trusted and loved(pre pandemic) because I was limited on days off.....now I simply choose them because I know what I am getting...great service and amazing food! 👏 and as a restaurant person during pandemic I love they follow the same practices we do, so I feel safe especially considering we share a lot of the same clientele.

I traveled from Wisconsin to see family and went out to eat with my Date here.
Great atmosphere. Lighting. And staff. Melissa was a great waitress. She was bussy and still maintains attention to not only our table but several others she tended to .
I ordered the 8 onz steak medium well done.
With Garlic parmesan potatoes.
I also added the lobster claw which was nice tender and Juicy. The steak was AMAZING.
THE CHEF CHRIS cooked the steak to perfection to the point where Gordan Ramsey would be proud.
My date had Chicken Marsala which was just as amazing.
We ate very great quality cooked food and I drank two samuel Adams
Dinner date for 2 came out to $89.50.
I tipped $17.50
$117.00. For Great service Great food and a GreT evening with my Partner. The manager who's name I didn't get was very nice and customer friendly.
Please remember when dining out your paying for a great experience. And to be honest the best right here to date. When I visit again. I definitely will come eat again. As long as Chis is making my steak. I'm there.

I love this place! It's a cute little restaurant for happy hour or dinner, I went here with a bunch of girls and the customer service was great, even if you have a large group, they take really good care of you and are very respectful, there specials are changed daily, portions are large prices are very reasonable food is very fresh and delicious
As I think back to all the times I have been to Bistro on the Ave, I realize I have never had a bad meal here. The food and drinks are always top notch, the service is always friendly and on time, and the environment is open and fun. It one of the slightly higher priced local places, but you get what you pay for and it's easily worth the few extra dollars.
A bit of hidden gem recommend by friends , great service , cozy atmosphere , price to value ratio is better than average , food was very good , drink features worth trying
