I got the blackened Mahi street tacos off the menu. Tacos come with papaya salsa that was really good. Fish wasn't dry or undercooked or over-seasoned. I'm personally really picky about tortilla chips so I was disappointed they were overcooked. For a poolside cafe it wasn't bad, nothing fancy. Food can be served at one of their tables near the bar, or you can have it served by your lounge chair area next to the pool. Oh, there is also a bar, but I do not drink alcohol so I can't give my input about that. I have family here, so we've been to this place many times. Honestly, who can really complain about much when they're visiting Maui?
It's a classy place for the location. Beach right across the street and a very small no jungle-gym park adjacent to the hotel SW. This park has a volleyball pit though which is nice. Solid place to stay.

Very good bar food and plentiful. Service prompt, thorough and courteous. Prices good for resort area. A little noisy and too close to car exhaust from parking area.
Happy hour drinks were delicious, strong and reasonably priced, for Maui. Service was slow (as usual on this island). Had to get up and get the server twice. Great ambience...live music poolside. Just know that you can not get into the pool unless you're staying at Maui Coast Hotel.

We love this bar! Every time we come to Maui we stay at the Maui Coast Hotel just because of this bar. Amazing food, highly recommend the burgers, lettuce wraps and Caesar salad. They have great happy hour, fun staff and great music every night! Brian, Dennis and Brandi are great bartenders! Love love love!
Covered open area with bar next to (hotel) pool. Good vibes. Good Happy hour drinks/prices 3 to 6 PM. Live music daily from 6 to 9 pm. Pretty good performers. Limited dinner menu, but good food. Appys (Coconut shrimp, zuchini, deep fried beans, and more), burgers, sandwiches and salads also, from 11am till close. All reasonably priced.

Always super happy with the friendly service by the pool servers. The food is pretty good too. The best time to visit is over happy hour for drink specials and food promotions.

Service is friendly but slow. Good happy hour deals on drinks & food. Coconut shrimp is really good here (better than the shrimp truck down the street!)
