Review Great Wall Chinese Restaurant - Kernersville

I’ve ordered from here a few times and have always had a pleasant experience. The best items I’ve gotten here are the Steamed Dumplings, the Fried Pork Wontons, and the House Special Fried Rice. The fried rice had plenty of protein and a surprising amount of shrimp, I definitely recommend it. The Chicken Wings were good and I will get them next time but I’ve since found better at another establishment. The Beef with Broccoli, Hot and Sour Soup, and Fried Dumplings are decent but I don’t see myself ordering them again. I don’t care for the Crab Rangoons at all but that seems to be a matter of different regional styles and tastes. We ended up throwing them out after a few bites. I ordered delivery through DoorDash. My orders have been accurate, fulfilled quickly, arrived hot, and were packaged well.

Third time ordering from here that they left some thing out of our order again. Order was read back twice and correct but after picked up and brought home not correct anymore. You call and you ask them, and they say oh well you didn’t order that. No apologies or an attempt to make it correct. And honestly the food is just not that good. Wishing there was a better option in Kernersville

Have always had wonderful food from here, always hot, and fresh. (Takeout. Haven’t ordered through DoorDash). Staff is always wonderful and extremely helpful. After reading some of the previous comments, I would say half of these people haven’t actually eaten here. As a driver, who drives up and down i-40 I will go out of my way, just to grab food from here. Been to a lot of restaurants that serve the same food around the Kernersville area, this one seems to be the one that NEVER disappoints. OVERALL, I highly suggest you give them a try. (pickup) DoorDash likes to overcharge for EVERYTHING.

I do not recommend this restaurant. The prices have increased, but the quality and portion size of the food have decreased. I ordered sweet and sour chicken. The chicken tasted like paper and the rice tasted stale. Very poor experience. I am so disappointed! What a complete waste of money!

AWESOME pork dumplings! Hit and huge. Hibachi chicken also just great. Not greasy.

Nasty bring back the old dragon. Had the fried rice here. Dried out stale rice. Tiny pieces of onion tiny pieces of pork, totally lacking flavor. Hardly any onions. Never again.

These people DO NOT listen. If you order something, they just give you whatever they want. I wanted just chicken broth they gave me some nasty looking chicken and rice soup.

I ordered General Tso chicken through door dash. Received the order very fast. Food was terrible. I never write bad reviews, but this was awful. Had been traveling all day and wanted a warm dinner. It was cold, and just tasted horrible. So disappointed
