Review Osaka Japanese Restaurant - Kernersville

First timer!! This is a hidden gem! Decided to give Osaka a try after reading the reviews. The staff is so friendly! Restaurant was clean. Food was delicious and fresh! Steak, shrimp and scallops had good flavor and really fresh. The sauces were flavorful especially the white sauce. The portion size is a lot! One of the BEST take out Japanese restaurants! Definitely will be back for more! Long time customer created! We were not disappointed and left full and satisfied! Definitely recommend!!

I NEVER DONE A REVIEW LIKE THIS BUT I AM SO MAD ! So I talk to the manager about my food and told him that their was seafood and my food (in the picture, it burnt salmon) now it blew my mind when he told me I had to tell him to not cook my food near seafood cause it a grill they have to cook the food! Now I’m a manager and I work in food, I know for a fact you have to tell the customer u cooking near seafood. Plus I didn’t order no seafood since my boyfriend is ALLERGIC. They didn’t even care to clean the grill!!!! My food smell fishy and my boyfriend mouth is breaking out! Then have a nerve to say it on the menu it freaking WAS NOT!!! so I will be reporting this !

Wow, great food! First time visiting and won't be the last! Quaint little hibachi takeout place that offers indoor dining. The quality of the food is definitely above that of other run-of-the-mill hibachi places. The Filet Mignon melts in your mouth and the house made sauces are spot on! The scallops were just a bit overcooked but still very delicious and great texture! The place is very clean and spacious. Also noticed that they have a takeout family tray option that is HUGE! Will definitely return and enjoy this again very soon! Thanks Osaka!

This is a decent and very casual place. I would give it 3.5 stars. The menu has a very good variety (steak, salmon, chicken, shrimp, combos, etc) The staff is very friendly. However, I think the chicken was slightly dry and overcooked. They don't offer brown rice either. The service is a little slow but they do prepare the food fresh. If you sit in the right spot you can even watch them cook your food. They serve the food on styrofoam plates and provide plastic cutlery so it's definitely very casual.

For 13 years now I have always had great food from here. Plus I usually have enough left over for lunch the next day too! Love their white sauce 🥰

The meal I got was very good but the chicken could have used a lot more teriyaki sauce on. It was undetectable. The chicken and the rice and the vegetables were OK.

Love their Hibachi steak and shrimp with rice and vegetables. Staff is very courteous patient and the food is freshly prepared.

Osaka Japanese has really great food, wonderful people, great prices and a Convenient location. <br/><br/>We loved the chicken hibachi and the dumplings. <br/><br/>We will be back again!

Good food. Really slow service.. Love chicken hibachi but takeout is never ready when I pick up and they dont even pretend to be in a hurry. Frustrating. I would eat there more if the service was better.

It was ok for the price $6, got hibachi chicken which was nice and juicy, but don't get te shrimp sauce it taste like a raw onion.... Maybe I just got a bad batch idk. Going to try the other place in kville next time.

Great takeout!. I have been eating at this tiny Japanese place for years now and I always enjoy my food. My girls who are 3 & 4 yrs and as picky as they come when it comes to eating enjoy Osaka. My opinion is that is a good place for Japanese take out in Kernersville.

Go to Greensboro or Winston for Japanese. Okay for lunch food ala food court, but worth driving elsewhere if you want Japanese bad enough to eat it in Kernersville.

I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Nothing fancy, you order at the counter and they serve the food on plastic plates, but it's really good quality hibachi cooking. Steak or teriaki chicken was just over $6 for dinner, and I got the filet mignon for just over $8, tender and tasty. Great value, everything cooked fresh and hot on the bog hibachi grill in sight where you can watch.
