Decent biscuits, the furniture seems dated, price is a bit high considering the competition in the area, but wasn't crowded.
This restaraunt deserves a five star rating! I liked my visit at this location. My guest and I decided that we'd dine in, since there weren't any customers dining in at our time of this visit. This place has a very down to Earth vibe. It's definitely a good place to bring family, if you like southern home cooked meals. This place serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is not served all day like some other restaurants that have a similar menu. Near the front door entrance, is a newspaper stand and this place is extremely clean. Since I've never visited this location before, I had to take my time in reading their menu boards. The cashier was very patient with me and my guest while we skimmed through their menu boards. I ordered a $5, 3 piece chicken dinner with a side of macaroni and cheese, potato wedges, and a biscuit. I believe this was dark meat chicken, which really didn't bother me. Anyway, my food tasted really good. I loved their homemade biscuits because they were fresh, perfect and they melted in my mouth. I will definitely return to this location.
It's been 20+ years since we have ate at a Mrs. Winners due to them shutting down in Tennessee. We found this one by accident and my husband was beyond thrilled. The staff was so friendly and nice, the food was spot on, the building was clean. We could not have ask for better. We will return during our trips back and forth to Duke University.
Great food always. I eat here at least once a month and never had a bad experience.
The chicken can be really good here but sometimes it's just okay. Not a fan of their sides. They are better than KFC to me.
