Review Mickey's Cafe - Kernersville

It was... just okay. Price was good, food was ok. We all three had a hot dog combo with fries and a drink. $21.67, not bad at all. My hot dog was cold and they were really red. We are visiting for a basketball tournament and searched for hot dogs near me. We will likely choose a different place next time.

You will love the food here. They have specials. We had the Filet Mignon with mushrooms with baked potato and a salad. The salad was fresh and crisp.

Simple and short ….. Hotdog bad, bread stale, chili???? More like flavorless beef, fries were more like noodles. This is a first from this restaurant. Everyone was nice though.

The BEST tenderloin biscuit you'll get anywhere! Add tomatoes and mayonnaise and it's mouth watering for me. The footlong hotdog is really good. The variety of pound cakes and ice cream is amazing. You need to stop and eat at this place!

Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and the restaurant was neat & clean. We will definitely be coming back!

Everybody got their food but me had to go up there and ask about my food. Received it and my whole food was cold as ice the bun was cold to touch I just ask for my money back. Don't know if its a race thing to not but I will never go back there again. I will spend my money else where.

Tried the chef salad my first time there. Very good. Good ranch dressing and sweet tea too.

Best place around to get a burger or hotdog, and they have the best fries ever! My husband and I eat there at least once a week. Highly recommend.

I’m in with my service dog all the time and never had an issue. Great food, fun staff, and homey atmosphere. Love this place as it’s always been a staple in my life.

If you are looking for some great home style food, this is the place. The breakfasts are out of this world and really hit the spot. Try the biscuits, you won't regret it. Great value, large portions, and friendly service!

I used to drive my family from Lewisville to Mickey's for the Footlong Special. When Ron was there, my order was exactly as I wanted it. Ron knew us when we came in, and was the face of this restaurant since it was Bill & Leah's (back when it was real good). Most of us thought this was Ron's restaurant because he was always there working, and he always spoke to the guests. There was even a burger named for him. This restaurant made a big mistake letting Ron go, and then doing so without making anyone aware of the "why", including Ron. Cosidering the public relations gaffs this place has made already (veteran's service dog, for example), I'm not sure they will recover from this one. #IStandWithRon

I will never step foot in a place that won't go out of there way to make comfortable and serve a veteran no matter what the circumstance.

Today was our first visit , good food and good service.., fries were exceptional...just enough season salt.!

You guy's let your best employee go. Ron was the only employee who ever made us feel welcomed and had conversations with us.

Their tenderloin egg and cheese biscuits are to die for. Not to mention everything else I've eaten there was excellent.

Awesome place! We took a baseball team and parents to eat lunch there and in less than 30 minutes, we were all seated and eating. The food was great!

I love your Tenderloin biscuit the Tenderloin is so tender that it just melts in your mouth. I have ate your hot dogs & fries before too. I will eat there again when I'm down your way I live in Walnut Cove.�

Food is good and the people are good. But before you say something to a person about a dog in a stroller, ask the person if it is a service dog.

I've been eating here since I was a kid (when it was still Bill and Leah's). Never had any complaints. Love these guys!

Today is the first time I've been in since Ron was fired.The young dark headed lady working the register had a HORRIBLE attitude. Customer service is what makes an establishment. Secondly waited over 15 minutes for a Togo order to come out wrong. As soon as I told the lady at the register it was wrong she proceeded to roll her eyes. I will not come back to this establishment.
