Seattle quality, Kent prices. Friendly staff. Teresa, our server, knows her italian cuisine! It was my birthday and husband wanted a special, relaxed, unfussy place with quality food. Paolo's was pefect. The scallops entre was the kind of melt in your mouth that I could put down the fork between each bite and savor flavor. We appreciated the small plates options. The tiramisu was a cloud of delicate tastes. We will go back. Seattle can keep their high prices and pretentiousness We found our italian in Kent!
I have lived in Kent for the past 20 years and am NOW discovering this fabulous little dish?? So authentic and so much flavor!! My new local fave!!! Bravo!!!
My wife and I asked our little one what she wanted for dinner. "Sketti an' meatballs!" was her answer. Paolo's was close and we love to support local businesses, so we went.
When we first arrived, I was afraid we needed reservations! On a Wednesday night, it was quite busy. However, the staff told us they could have a table for us shortly. While we were waiting, Paul himself greeted us and asked if we wanted an appetizer. We chose the cheesy garlic bread and it was ready for us a minute after we were seated. On top of that, we were told it was on the house!
Long story short, the food was delicious, the service was incredible, and we'll be back with friends.
Delicious food and amazing service! Our party of two had Fettuccine Paolo and pepperoni pizza. Both were delicious. But really the service was tops. Everyone was so friendly, efficient and accurate. Will definitely return here, but probably a good idea to make a reservation next time!
My BF and I visited for the first time and absolutely loved this gem of a place so close to us! I got the pork chop and he got steak, and both dishes were perfectly cooked and completely delicious! We also got the garlic bread to share ... And my oh my it was good! We also took a few desserts home; the cannoli and the lemon cheesecake were DIVINE! I really wanted to try the tiramisu but they were out, can't wait to try it next time!
Service was wonderful, very cozy environment, very friendly staff, and just an overall quality restaurant! Also, we were surprised at how affordable it was for such a quality and high end level of food and service we had.
Can't wait to bring my mom here next!
First time dining at Paolo’s and WOW what a pleasant dinner! The restaurant decor was beautiful and our server Nicolas was fantastic! Everything we ordered was delicious and came out so fast (Monday night) The bruschetta and clams were cooked perfectly and the entrees were so flavorful. Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion!
We have been coming here for years! We came on Fathers day and was pleasantly surprised with the special Rib eye they had. It was absolutely delicious. It was cooked perfected and the sauce they used was fantastic. I really enjoy the lasagna and cannoli's they have as well too.
We have Carole as our waitress and she is just the sweetest. Carole was on top everything even though they were pretty busy this evening. She made suggestions on what to order and made sure our drinks stayed full.

Wonderful Italian food!!! We started with the cheesy garlic bread with some marinara on the side. The marinara was of course house made and created the perfect flavor combo with the garlic bread. The house bread with oil and vinegar was also very good. The oil is infused with garlic which adds that much more to the flavor. The entrees we ordered (Gnocchi, Fetuccini Alfredo and Bistecca Gorgonzola) were all delicious as well. For dessert, check out their Tiramisu...though I'm quite sure any of the dessert choices would be wonderful.
Always good food. Very friendly service. Feel free to customize your order to suit. Reasonably priced. I've been here numerous times and will continue to come until something changes my mind, but I haven't seen anything to that effect yet.
Great food! Party of 4, we all ate different dishes. I had the chicken with Marsala sauce. It came with roasted veggies & pasta in Gorgonzola cream sauce. The meal was really delicious. Everyone else finished their meals. I will come back. Nice atmosphere.
