Indulged in a delightful dining experience at Outback Steakhouse recently. The star of the show was undeniably the steak – perfectly cooked to a delightful shade of pink, it was a carnivorous delight. I went there expecting a great meal like I usually get, but this visit turned out a bit different. There was one person in the restaurant behind he bar and waiting on customers. I ordered the chicken wings appetizer with MILD sauce and Caesar salad. The salad was very good, but when the wings came, after a very long wait, they were so hot they burned my mouth. Obviously, it was NOT mild sauce. I told the waiter, and he took it back and re-ordered them without sauce. My friend had finished her meal and was ready to leave but she waited for me to get my meal... which took even longer than the first order. The man in the kitchen delivered my order just about the time I was going o tell the waiter to just charge me for the salad and forget the wings. The wings were very tasty, but the long wait and the hot sauce really made for a less than the usual good experience. Why were there only TWO employees there, and with only three other tables of people, the usual good service was not the usual either.

The establishment is clean and stylish. Our server Li is the best. Ask to be in her section and she will take care of your dining experience. We were seated quickly and well attended. My wife had the delicious Victoria's fillet "melts in your mouth " with a garden salad and fresh vegetables. I had the tasty and tender and grilled to perfection New Zealand Lamb chops medium (that's how you order lamb) vegies and a delightful bowl of chowder. Outback's salads are fresh and quality especially the wedge, our favorite. The menu has changed and portions are sufficient. The dark bread and soft butter is a super nice free appetizer. You can order special sauces so ask what's available.

Took Grandma out for her birthday. We got a blooming onion, I got the Ahi Tuna with a cup of clamp chowder for dinner and shared grandma's steak. Food was delicious, clam chowder was surprisingly some of the best I've had in a very long time and this is coming from someone who grew up on the coast. Collin, our server was fantastic. Never had to ask twice for anything and refilled our drinks before we asked. Even being super busy that night, he was on top of everything!
