Good food! We tried all 3 ramen choices & they were good, along with the sushi (Crunchy Roll & Mexican Roll). Service was good from the gentleman helping us, but the gal assisting him, wasn’t very attentive to the entire table. Overall, I recommend this location.
This is the closest to good Japanese food in the tri-cities! We enjoyed quite a few dishes. Gluten free menu given upon request. Quite a good selection of gluten free dishes. You want to check ahead for some of the dishes as they were out of gf teriyaki and hamachi kama. The miso soup is also not gluten free unfortunately...
Pictures are a mix of GF and non-gf. The atmosphere was good and cozy.
Did not get sick as having celiac, so that was good especially since our table ordered a mix of GF and not. Definitely on the pricey side, but considering the prices of everything now, its not bad at all.
Definitely will be coming again!
Fantastic. I have gone several times now. The omg salmon is a must try. I had the omakase last time I went and was very impressed. I cannot speak highly enough of them.
Aki is a pretty good spot to go for sushi, however, I've gone enough times now where I've gotten the same rolls more than once, and the biggest issue is that they aren't always consistent. There are times where the rice wasn't prepared properly to where the rolls are more likely to fall apart, to the times where they put too much yumyum sauce over the rolls that throws off the balance. A minor critique, but still odd that if you order a spider or godzilla roll, you won't always get the same roll each time.
My favorite little sushi place in town. Excellent food and atmosphere. I just wish they had more options available for people like me with shellfish allergies. But I got my favorites.
Really good sushi place. I had the ramen and a spicy shrimp roll. Both very good! My friend had a California roll and the curry. His was really good too. Not a lot of space and they seemed to stay busy so you might have a wait. It’s worth it though I assure you! I’ll be back again
I stopped in for dinner, having never been here before. In pictured order, we got the spicy salmon roll, the screaming poppers, the Godzilla roll, the fantasy roll, and the tempura mix. I don’t care too much for fried things, but the screaming poppers had a good flavor to them. The tempura mix appetizer was alright- very crispy, not a ton of flavor. I liked the sushi itself, though. The service and atmosphere were outstanding!
The Miduri roll was creamy & mild. It had chicken in the middle, avocado on top, and a creamy, slightly horseradish sauce on top. Was my favorite. The teriyaki chicken was served on top of spring greens and was perfectly tly balanced. Not too sweet with a slight char taste. Came with rice & Miso soup. My teen loved it. The spring rolls were served with strawberry jam & had snow crab & cream cheese inside a crispy wrapper. The Music roll had a slightly vinagrette/ sesame flavor profile. Was dynamic. Their menu was quite extensive. Cute little place in a strip mall, colorful lighting, cool art, and I liked the music. The employees were wonderful. The rolls are on the small side, but go during happy hour & save on sake & rolls.
We went back again, got the screaming poppers jalapeno stuffed fried appetizer, really good. The teriyaki beef is nicely done, comes with miso soup & a side of white rice. Got the salad for a few bucks, had peanuts & a sweet salad dressing on top of spring mix lettuce. I got the River Tuna roll, had pepper tuna on top & avocado with tempura salmon & spicey tuna inside...loved it.
Also tried the yakisoba with a side of teriyaki sauce to sweeten the noodles, was al dente. Nice music & employees.
Great food, very clean, tidy place. Got there at 430pm on Saturday and there was already a wait, but it was certainly worth the wait. Our server was a little grumpy but everyone else was great!
Excellent food, and nice attention paid to special orders, including gluten-free soy sauce and a separate menu.
The experience was first class.
Our server was very friendly and able to explain. the various menu items the food was awesome🍱
The interior design of the restaurant was tastefully Japanese. I will definitely be returning at some point.
I came with a mixed group of people wanting different things and thankfully the menu covered that. While one person ordered a lunch menu special of different sushi rolls, another got ramen and I got to try the nice selection of vegetarian options! Everything tasted delicious and we finished the whole meal, and nothing left on the plate!

The atmosphere and decor make the experience feel like you’re dining in an upscale Japanese bar. The service was top notch and the sushi was incredible. New favorite sushi spot.
Blown away by how amazing and delicious everything we ate here was. Husband ordered Ramen, and I was tempted to steal his bowl, it was just that good. I had the Jalapeno Popper appetizer, and the Tempura Dinner. All delicious. Will be going back soon for their Sushi!
It was all amazing, but next time I am in the mood for Ramen, this is the place I am going to.
I’ve been here many times now and a review was overdue. Good dining is hard to come by in this town but this would be 1 of the 2 places I can actually say is good without any “but”s. I’ve loved everything I’ve ever ordered, and I order a lot! The fish is always fresh and the ramen menu is impressive! The flavor of the bone broth on the Tonkotsu ramen is 🤤🤤🤤 They’ll give you some chili oil on the side for you to add some heat to it if you like. I also have to get the Green Peace roll every time. The service is always super, you never sit with dirty dishes in front of you for more than a minute. They are attentive, well-versed in their menu and incredibly kind. The ambiance of the restaurant itself is nothing like we have in the Tri-Cities. The Lo-Fi beats make it feel really chill. Happy Hour is a plus, you get quality food for a more than affordable price.
We accidentally found this place for a quick dinner passing through on a trip to Oregon, and turned out to be one of the best meals on our trip. Service was above average...
The atmosphere and food of this establishment is truly appeasing. My husband and I sat at the sushi bar and watched the artists work their magic. They serve a small complimentary dish of lightly cooked edamame lightly sprinkled with salt. We first ordered the gyoza and it was excellent. The sauce was salty/sweet and had very nice balance with the meat filling in the dumpling. The outside was nice and crispy without being greasy. My husband's Yakisoba Noodle dish came with miso soup that was delicious for a simple soup. My husband's dish had a very nice flavor with it. His only complaint was that the shrimp were over cooked. My dish, however, was divine. I ordered the Northwest Philly Roll. It was filled with smoked salmon, cream cheese, and avocado. It was deep fried and served with Paradise sauce, masago, and scallions on top. I'm a huge fan of fried rolls and this was so creamy and crunchy without falling apart. My one issue I had was that the top few pieces were very spicy. I believe that the gentleman making them had jalapeño on his gloves as he made it and it transferred onto my roll. It was so delicious I still barreled through the spice. They accidentally made my husband's Yakisoba he ordered with Udon noodles instead. The waitress made it up by bringing us green tea ice cream drizzled with chocolate sauce. It was fantastic and perfect for the end of the meal. I highly recommend Aki Sushi. My one caution is that the dining area is very small and you may find yourself waiting for a table. Worth it in my opinion.
