Overall: DELICIOUS. But not our most highly recommended Lobster establishment of our trip.
The atmosphere of Arundel's was very beachy. It was an overcast, muggy day, but sitting out on the deck was still pleasant. Our server was attentive and efficient. She was helpful with any questions we had. We started with the Asian Crab Dip and I would give them a "5 star" just for that. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. It was so delicious. My husband ordered the Lobster Pasta and I has the Chicken entree. I will say, this was the first place we ate on our trip and the lobster was probably the lowest on the totem pole from the other places. It was chewy and not cooked as well. The sauce in the pasta was very rich. The chicken entree was delicious. The breading and glaze was so good. The vegetables were cooked well. We got the peanut butter pie special dessert and devoured it.
Went with my wife and had dinner and a few drinks. Food and drinks were good and the atmosphere was very nice. We would come back again for lunch and eat on the deck.
Wow, based on the reviews, we must have been considered royalty because the food and service we had was exceptional. Not our favorite in KBP, but certainly worth a try.
Lobster JACKPOT!. The mood was already set for us with the thick ocean fog and light misty rain that settled over Kennebunkport.
The nearby B&B we were staying at had a menu from Arundel Wharf and it looked like it had something for everyone in our party.
We certainly weren't disappointed. The Lobster stew was rich and full of delicious lobster morsels.
The Lobster salad came with a shockingly huge scoop of real lobster meat on it.... being western Canadians, we are pitifully accustomed to a measly sliver or two of lobster on our seafood salads.
Of course one of us HAD to order a whole boiled lobster - and it too was good and accompanied by more than decent sides....we definitely hit the Lobster jackpot at Arundel Wharf!
We were in a semi- enclosed (due to the weather) area and it did get a little chilly and eventually some mosquitos found us...time to go!
Service was friendly and reasonably good - for people who aren't in a hurry - and we weren't.
Six of us arrived around 4:45 as walk- ins with no reservations. We were seated within a few minutes, which we really appreciated. I'm guessing the young hostess was having a bad day since she was obviously a bit annoyed and impatient with us deciding on her offer to sit inside or out on the deck in the sun. Our decision took about 20 seconds, but hey, it was getting the preferences from 6 people. Anyway, we had a wonderful young waitress who took excellent care of us in our visit. The food was wonderful. We all ordered something different, and everyone was delighted with their choice. The prices were moderate considering the location on the water, and it was certainly worth it for the high quality of the dishes served. Great atmosphere for couples and families with well-mannered kids. Handicapped parking is available as well as free on-site parking.

Great atmosphere. We ate lunch outside on a tent covered dock. We both ordered cheese burgers with fries and coleslaw. The burgers were great. Unfortunately the only gluten free options were salad. There were no gluten free rolls for the burger. Beautiful views of the river. Service was good.
The place is nice and cozy. I ordered lobster, scallops and shrimp with linguine but the sauce is too bland and I ask the waitress for an extra Parmesan cheese. I’m not sure about the other dishes but the calamari is taste good.
Some of the best fish I've had in the area - huge thick haddock fillet that was unbelievably fall-apart tender. I asked for another lemon wedge for the fish and got four more, which was a huge plus in my book! Great scenic view of the harbor, a perfect Kennebunkport experience.
Waiter was very nice and food was great. Beer and drinks came fast with food minutes later. It can get windy and cold but they have indoor and tent seating.
One of our favorites. Beautiful view of the marina in Kennebunkport. The service, food and atmosphere rival any location on the Maine Seacoast. Pricing is expected and Lobster is Market rate. Highly recommend.
On our anniversary visit we were here on our honeymoon 5 years ago and had lunch after a cruise on the Eleanor. Our server Erin was fantastic, drinks were good, we started with the mussels they were delicious, for dinner wifey had the scallops just a tad overcooked but delicious, I had the halibut special it was perfect we skipped dessert this time. Great atmosphere. Excellent cocktails, and we loved the Lazy Lobster. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Stopped in for a quick evening bite on our last night in Kennebunkport. Wonderful evening on the wharf patio. Food was good, not great. Lobster stew was tasty but too thick and heavy for my taste. Was hoping for something more like a bisque. Mussels were cooked well but wine sauce was too sweet. They need to use a drier white wine for this.
It was a pleasant meal but not the best we had during our stay.
We went there for lunch and had awesome meals. I ordered a lobster roll and must say I never had one with this much lobster meat before! It was loaded! Loved it! The sweet potato fries were cooked just right too! Just crispy enough!
My husband ordered a lobster club sandwich which is a double decker with one layer of lobster meat and the other with bacon lettuce and tomatoes! He couldn't finish it! So good and very filling! You definitely get your money's worth. Great atmosphere eating out on the deck too!
