First time diner. Had a great family dinner. We all had 5 different dishes of pasta. They were perfect. Pregamed at bar before our table was ready-nice. They were able to seat us early-great. Read some of the reviews prior and was apprehensive. Disregard, great place.

This is an amazing restaurant. Every bite was delicious. Cozy outdoor seating, dim warm lighting. Great staff that was friendly and attentive while also giving us space to enjoy the evening. We will definitely be going back. I am excited to try other dishes!

Nice but loud and the tables guarantee you will be knocked a time or two. Service is kind but distracted. Never got a 2nd iced tea but they still added 4 dollar butter charge lol 😂 details!! Hard coming off exquisite food but well done and tasty. I prefer stronger flavors but it was good for the price point. Shrimp excellent…..pasta well made. Bread 🍞 yum

Great atmosphere and amazing food. A nice way to get away from the craziness of Kennebunkport and try some other local flavors. All noodles and pasta are handmade and give the dishes so much extra flavor. Portions are huge, so be prepared to take extras home.

I went here for a group meeting. The bartender was sociable and made a good drink. Dinner started off with a Caesar salad with a breaded poached egg (did not know breaded eggs were a thing, SO GOOD) The entree selection was small, we had the choice of chicken or vegetarian risotto. I'm not a big chicken fan. But even so, it was so flavorful and delicious. The dessert was top notch, made by their pastry chef. She was also very sociable. Overall, loved it and would love to go back.

If you come through the side entrance, there's a cute gift shop you have to check out. 50 Local also had a baby name 58 Main. Check my photos. Also, you can park right there on main street for two hours no worries. 🤗
The staff was pleasant and seemed like they were happy to be there. Apparently the owners must be treating the employees right. This restaurant needs to be on your go-to list. This place was poppin 😚. Blake was our server and he took care of us. I can tell you that servers are exceptional when they hear their name vs "excuse me, excuse me." They know exactly where to turn when they hear their name.
The food and ambiance was excellent. Reservations are required. Go at 5p and have the place to yourself. Get the salad with the poachds egg on top. Perfect for the light eater or hot summer night. The crab 🦀 cakes are served on a thick wooden paddle with spicy mayo and pickled onions. The cake itself is served as a meatball shape not as a cake/paddy. I had the mussel frites (that means fries served on top of the mussels) - ask for them on the side. 💁♀️
If you're a bourbon drinker, and am old fashioned doesn't tempt you, and you feeling like you had a donkey 🐴 kind of day? Ask for a mule, they'll make you one. Right on.
The serve fresh hot bread out of the oven (at least at 5p they do) and filtered water for the table.

Overall experience was excellent. Would definitely go back. Menu was a little different on line vs when we went so take heed. Good variety of local beers. Bread was homemade and excellent-crust was not hard which was nice. We did have to ask for it as opposed to it being automatically brought to us like at other tables. Crab cake, yes just one, was great according to the person who ate it. Spicy aioli sauce lived up to its name. Arugula salad was excellent as well. Haddock was very tasty but the fries with the fish n chips were cold. Service was attentive n friendly.

Nice restaurant in downtown Kennebunk, Maine. I had the mussel appetizer and Udon noodle dish. My wife had the buccatini, the rest of the diners had arancini appetizer the ribeye steak. The mussels were well prepared, flavorful and plentiful. It could have been a full dinner as served, but, I was sharing. the arancini came with 5 large balls. We took 2 home. The udon noodle dish was a good size with chicken. I thought it was a little salty and I think would have been better with pork. If they gave a choice of pork or chicken, that would be a smarter dish. My wife loved the buccatini. The steak lovers were happy and each took some home. The restaurant was a bit on the noisy side, but, we were able to have a conversation. It was very dark, so much so that I was unable to read the check when it came. They have candles on the table, but, it is not enough light. Our server was excellant. Would definitely go back if I was in the area.

This place never disappoints. Cozy vibe verging on speakeasy. Homemade bread is excellent and mocktails/cocktails are sublime. Local ingredients crafted with obvious care. A little on the pricier side but so worth it! The crab cake was the best I’d ever had- packed with real crabmeat, piping hot and the blend of spice with the remoulade was perfection. Loved it!

Very good meals, particularly the pasta dishes. The service was very friendly and helpful when choosing a meal. It felt like they were down one server, as the staff was moving quickly to take care of guests. The kitchen was very quick.

Excellent food and service. We did have to wait for a table even with a reservation, and the food/drinks were delayed because they were so busy. It's a very small place with high demand - but the wait was totally worth it, and our server was very communicative (the complimentary fresh bread to thank us for our patience didn't hurt either). They have a daily menu and delicious craft cocktails. I had the braised short rib over homemade pasta - a spiritual experience. Highly recommend saving room for dessert. Will definitely be back!

Calamari was good. Fish and chips wasn't. I don't like thick cut steak fries. The coating on the fish was thick and heavy. It was one of the worst fried haddock dishes I have had in Maine. Servers seemed very fake. I won't be back.

Extremely disappointing dinner tonight. Haven't eaten meat in 34 years. Ordered the fish stew and requested it be prepared without the sausage. Fish stew delivered by the sever who says " your fish stew without the sausage". Almost immediately I notice the stew is filled with sausage. The stew is sent back to be remade. Meanwhile my family has finished their dinners. My second stew finally arrives. I am eating the stew thinking I don't recognize the smokey flavor. I chalk it off to some type of seasoning until I get a fork full of sausage. I was honestly disgusted. I feel the chef had no care or consideration for his guests. The fist time I could understand the possible mistake. The second time no excuse. So disappointing because I was the person who wanted to eat here.

The cocktails were phenomenal. The food was okay. Not the best fish and chips I'd ever had. For the price I was expecting much better. The fish was fried much too long., causing a thick burnt taste to the breading. The starter I had was the grilled beets. It was very awkwardly arranged as chunks of grilled beets on a mini cast iron pan next too a tin of toasted chunks of bread and chutney. It really lacked imagination and the ease of pairing the flavors so you could taste them all together. The atmosphere was quaint and very decorative. Although, the lighting was much too low for my liking. I had to use my phone to see the menu. I will not be returning to eat there again but definitely for drinks.
