Great food and service. I work in the Kenedy area often and have been coming here for two months. The building is from the 30s/40s, and the restaurant has the feel of a family owned small town diner.
Perfect Pit Stop. Have stopped here so many times over the years on the way to the coast that I ought to own stock in the place. It's a good ole country establishment where the waitress and cashier call you "hun" and "sweetie". The decor is country comfortable and the locals crowd the place for lunch so you know the food is good.
You can't go wrong with the buffet for the quality, quantity and diversity, or the price of the food. Do not miss their sausage if they are serving it on the day you go. It's made by a meat purveyor just down the road and is just tubular nirvana.
You can't miss the big Barth's sign as you drive between Kenedy and Karnes City.
Love this place. Great, great, great! great food, great service. im not even from kenedy and they treat me like a resident. dont let the outside appearance fool you!@!!!!!!!
If your looking for a real laid back and quite place to eat, this is the place no doubt. The atmosphere here is very casual, close to being at home. Customer service was great promtly greeted when we walked in as well as when we parted. Love when the waitress sides with me and not my dad lol π The food was good had the chicken fried steak wasn't bad tasted homemade π I ordered a fully loaded baked potato the only thing missing was the green onions....dad got the same with mashed potatoes that tasted homemade too π order the pick of the crop appetizer with fried pickles and mozzarella sticks.....Next time I am in town I may go back and select a different item to try off the menu.
Awesome friendly service and staff, delicious food at a good price, I will be back to try the cinnamon rolls
The wait staff is very friendly. A waitress that served us last week came by our table even though another waitress was helping us and visited with us like we were old friends. It's the good food and homey touch that keeps us going back.
I've eaten here for years and are so glad that they survived the pandemic. Barth's still has the best catfish platter in town. They are bigger on the inside than you think and have plenty of parking in the rear. Barth's has been a Kenedy fixture perhaps even longer than I have been alive.
I had chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and the salad bar. Food was hot and delicious and the service was great.
Good food, nice place to relax
Been coming Here for years and the food is always delicious especially the salad bar it's got all the goodies but it's sad to say that they'll be closing π
Got here at 8:30 they close at 9. Didn't bother them at all very friendly. Excellent service and chicken fried steak great. Rolls are heaven sent lol.
