Hate Mondays Tavern

Hate Mondays is an awesome place. It is a very unpretentious restaurant..... more like a "Dive" as Guy Fiery would put it. Hidden in a warehouse on a not very busy street you will find this little, locals gem. With a smoker outside that is smoking all day long and a tiny kitchen inside this place delivers on food and service. Food here is super good. From smoked chicken wings, to short ribs and pulled pork this chef knows BBQ. From the kitchen the hamburgers are very food as well the french fries. Lots of craft beer options and all sodas. Only 4 stars because I think they should have a couple of homemade sauces to go with this great BBQ. All hot sauces were store bought.... not exactly a problem... but it is always nice to have a house sauce. For those thinking of coming here keep in mind that it is a small place. There are just a few tables and big groups would be hard to accommodate. Give the chef some freedom and let him prepare the surprise dish. You will get whatever he wants to give you.

If your looking for some great tasting Southern style food with a lil Cuban influence then this is the place. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is hole in the wall'ish (my type of my place & music) & the staff was on point. The owner/chef was friendly, came out & greeted the customers. Money well spent, great time had.
