Prime Steer Supper Club

This used to be my one and only go to for supper clubs. Unfortunately it has definitely gone downhill. We went on a weeknight and there was very few people there, took us over an hour to get a table. It wasn’t like we were spending a ton at the bar. We just honestly wanted a table. The steak was good and cooked properly. But there’s just no wow factor. Which I get is hard to do in a supper club but service was mediocre. It’s just another steak place. Lately we have found that they are not open very frequently. And Facebook seems to suggest they close a lot for staffing issues. But the supper club across the street remains open, so maybe they need to look at their way of staffing (pay, hours, etc)

Was fairly slow. Waited at bar 40 minutes (not bad/not great), bartender was pleasant. Unfortunately that is where things go significantly downhill. We were seated and waited another 40-45 minutes. Salad bar was small but fair, clean and stocked. Waitress was competent but not friendly. Meal was subpar. Ribeye steak was ordered medium, was served well done. And though I can not prove it, it sure seemed to be a lesser cut of meat. Not much flavor. The hashbrown’s were inedible, they tasted like deep fried grease and were burned. The fries were also grease pits, again inedible. Spoke with hostess to tell here about the hashbrowns, all we got was “unhun, have a good night”. Can’t believe how this place has declined. Hope they turn it around, it was a five star place.

Long wait to be seated, almost 2 hours, then after being seated it took almost an hour to get our food. I had ribeye and haddock. The steak was over cooked and almost half was pure fat. It was served on a sizzling hot plate which continues to cook the already over cooked steak. The haddock was a very small portion and was cold and served on a small plastic saucer. Very disappointing.

We were here on a Saturday night. It was pretty busy therefore there was a 20 minute wait for a table. We sat at one of the tables in the bar and were given out menus and asked to order there. We had to go to the bar to get a drink. Once we were seated we all had the salad bar which was pretty good, although the salad was a little brown in spots. The fresh bread they brought to the table was awesome! We ordered the tenderloin for two and our steak was very good. The portions were very nice and the prices reasonable. We loved the mini cheesecakes that came as our dessert with our meal. Overall, very nice experience. We will be back!
