The food looked great, very colorful and fresh. The service was great. The hostess and waitress were both friendly and polite.
The menu was pretty basic, nothing over the top or different. The are advertising home style dinners so I guess that is why. If you want a simple fresh meal go here. Prices were extremely reasonable.
The floors could have been swept a bit more and the glass table tops were streaky. Kinda felt a little unkept.

Today the food was perfect. Black Eyed Peas have always been on point but for awhile there the chicken fried chicken was bland as was the white gravy. Not today. Good job. very Satisfied. I didn't have to wait at all. Food was ready when I got there.

My Mom and I just saw this restaurant as we were out running errands. We decided to stop and try it.
We went in, we were greeted right away. We both ordered the chicken fried steak and I had mashed potatoes and green beans. The food was served hot, fresh and delicious! The restaurant was clean and the music was pretty relaxing.
I would definitely recommend!

Beautiful interior design, but I'm here to talk about the food, and according to my tongue, also beautiful. They listed soup under burger, which was weird but the tomato basil made my day. Waiter was very friendly and attentive. It felt fancy and yet homey at the same time. It's the kinda place that I would imagine you would go to for a successful first date.

Came here for breakfast on an early Sunday morning to try it out. Food was good and service was great. Loved the atmosphere. The prices were reasonable and the serving size was great. If you're looking for down home American Style food, this would be your place.

Really enjoyed everything. I tried the breakfast and it was very good. The hash browns and bacon very crispy. The pancake crispy on the edges and soft. Not pricy like other places and the plate good size to fill you ☺️. Overall the staff great.

The cafe is very clean and spacious. I got the Texas size breakfast & added 2 pancakes. I also ordered gravy for my biscuit. Food was good but that gravy was chef's kiss. It was delicious.

This place was great! We had a nice quiet family dinner and ordered a variety of options from omlettes to fried chicken. No complaints here! The food was delicious and the atmosphere is fantastic! I don't live in the area, but if I ever go back to Katy, I'd like to try Baccailis again

I ordered the chicken sausage and crawfish pasta and I added shrimp. I asked them in the notes when I ordered it online to not put cheese on top and they did not. It was very good. I got liver and mashed potatoes and gravy and fried okra. very good. I got fried pork chops and black-eyed peas and potato salad potato salad. very good. pork chops great, the Black Eyed Peas weren’t bad. They were soft, so that’s good. I am very impressed with this hidden gem in cypress. Pricing is very reasonable. The way they packaged it for delivery was awesome. 10/10. Definitely recommend.

We ordered the Baccalis Breakfast and Waffle. It was good. Since this time we were able to actually sit in the restaurant, the menu is really diverse.
I upped the stars from one to four. Why not five? Because it’s 30 degrees outside and the heater isn’t turned on.
Below is my previous experience:
They open at 9:30 am according to what they have listed online. We walk in and wait to be seated as the sign instructs…so we wait and wait…a lady that works at this restaurant sees us and walks away…as in goes to hide in the back.
It’s a shame because I was looking forward to the experience.

First impressions were wonky. The place looked great at first but the smell didnt agree but It was faint and i did get over it quickly. The waitress (lissette) was very friendly and was quick about all actions she did. Seats are worn and some surfaces such as the dividers could definitely use a wipe down. Then the food arrived which i could say took a bit but was worth it when the food arrived hot all the way as it should. For the price (26 for my gf and me) it was definitely worth it. I'd reccomend this if you were going with your family but not on a date or business.

Dropped into this little cafe while my car was getting inspected. It was very comfy and felt like an old school diner. The service is very fast and the portions are sized appropriately. I have the tomato bacon omellete and it we as delicious. My son had oatmeal and scrambled eggs.

OH MY STARS! My fiancé has been telling me to try this place finally I was like, okay let’s go. AMAZING FOOD. Very sweet staff. I will be back forever. And they also serve breakfast all day. I got the Chicken Bryan and as you can tell by the last picture, no words need to be said. What gem.

Great restaurant! Food was yummy, staff was so nice, and one of the most reasonably priced menus I’ve seen in a while. Chicken fried steak was very good and the mashed potatoes were awesome!
