Best rotisserie chicken and fried okra in Katy TEXAS. Need one in Houston off 45 or in Spring. Jennifer has great customer service and food is always hot and fresh. There bbq sauce is amazing. If you haven’t had Cowboy Chicken now is the time to check them out. Don’t sleep on this style of chicken.

Really loved the variety of food they had besides just rotisserie chicken. They also served a very good amount on the plate. Chicken was so good my picky eater of a daughter ate my chicken along with hers. Really cant wait to come back again!

We just visited Cowboy Chicken for the first time and were pleasantly surprised! Established since '81, Cowboy has taken pride in their slow roasted, wood-fire chicken and they surely don't disappoint! Once inside, we were greeted by Bill who was very friendly and took the time to go over the different available options and lunch special (2 pieces + 2 sides for $6.99). I ordered the half chicken with 2 sides ($9.29). For the sides I had their Twice Baked Potaters and sweet corn. Chicken was tender and juicy with that distinct fire wood flavor. I added some butter to the Baked Potaters and that seemed to make them a bit less dry. I strongly recommend you try their awesome sweet tea to wash down your meal. Overall, are there cheaper alternatives out there? Of course, but they don't have that delicious fire-wood flavor on their chicken. Combine that with their friendly down-to-earth costumer service and Cowboy Chicken is a true Lone Ranger that shines on its own!

Tonight was our first time eating here.
The chicken was awesome. My wife had the chicken salad sandwich and thought it was great. My kids ate both of the drumsticks in the kids meal. The fries are cooked to perfection. My absolute favorite thing there was the tomato and cucumber salad.

Delicious! Moist and juicy rotisserie chicken that falls off the bone. The twice baked potatoes are phenomenal and you can never go wrong with some fried okra. Couldn't be more satisfied! Also try their peach tea. 👌

We were supposed to go to the restaurant next door but the smell of fired wood made us change our mind and what a nice surprise!!!! I’m on a Keto diet so the half chicken for me was a win! Creamy spinach and green beans as a side (sorry I can not review the roll). My husband ordered the enchilada plate and he said they were amazing specially the green salsa!. Can’t wait to go back again!

Chicken was cooked to perfection. The wood fired really makes a big difference in the flavor and tender and juiciness of the chicken. The coleslaw was fresh and not full of mayo. Even the hot sauce was perfect with not too over bearing heat but a nice added flavor that complements the other spices and tastes. Prices were also really good for the quality and service

Pleasantly surprised. Order at the counter and they'll bring it to your table. Food was excellent for the price. I had the 6 legs...I thought I was buffalo wings, but it was 6 legs. Yummy.

Restaurant was VERY clean, pretty nifty too. You can watch the chicken being cooked over fire wood, fresh cookies, and ample seating.
Only resting 4 stars because of 1 stall restrooms, fair tasting food. Staff was friendly.
Rolls were a bit stiff, but butter is available. BBQ sauce is amazing!
