Love the variety of bagels that they have. I had the westerner with the Asiago bagel. I really want to try that jalapeño cheddar but it’s always sold out!😭The staff is very nice and helpful! I will have to say tho, they need to crank the AC in there cause it does get pretty hot. But overall bagels are very fresh. Definitely recommend.🙏
I had a coworker bring me a bagel from here about a week ago, and I’ve thought about it ever since. My husband and I went today and had one of the best cinnamon rolls in my life. We love the everything bagel, and we’ve had two of the cream cheeses here and both were fantastic. We can’t wait to come again, everything is reasonably priced and the staff seems so nice. This is a local business I feel great about supporting.
I must say this is one of the BEST bagel sandwiches I have had. I’m giving them 4 instead of 5 stars due to the attitude and atmosphere the morning I ordered my sandwich. The vibe was down for some reason. Maybe something had happened some morning (I get it). It’s a busy morning before they would be closed on a holiday (Easter).
However, the spirit needed a major face lift. As I interacted with 3 employees, only one actually had a smile on her face. Thank you for that. You don’t want to come across as grumpy Christians.
With that said, my bagel sandwich was REALLY delicious and fresh. Just add a side of HAPPY with that toasted goodness.
This neighborhood staple is an absolute gem. The Bagels are incredible, and the staff is so friendly. I've tried just about every flavor and they're all delicious! My go to is the jalapeno cheddar toasted with butter, it's delightful. Husband and I have been coming here for years, finally dragged our teen here this morning and after her first bite of bagel she started singing the hallelujah chorus, LOL!
Love love love. The bagels are super fresh and delightful. There are a tiny of great flavors. We love the blueberry, everything, spinach feta, and cheddar jalapeno bagels the best. House made cream cheeses are also great - go for the olive or maple raisin. You won't be disappointed. Super friendly staff but busy on the weekends.
We love The Bagel Cafe! Our kids can't get enough of the cinnamon sugar and chocolate chip bagels. They ask for a dozen bagels every weekend. The staff is very friendly. When he eat there, we enjoy the bagel sandwich with egg, sausage and cheese. The coffee is always so good. Great variety of bagels. This is one of our favorite spots.

The moment I walked in this place, it felt authentic. Like a slice of a bagel shop from back East transplanted into Houston’s suburbs.
Fresh ingredients made my muffuletta shine. The chive cream cheese was no different. When we came in, it was kinda busy, and the guy behind the counter was shouting “don’t be shy. Step right up” in a boisterous but welcoming way. I explained that we’re shy and needed a minute, and he chuckled and laid off while we unhurriedly decided from their massive wall of options letting less shy or more decisive folks cut in line.
I’d go back.
Love stopping at this spot after a weary night of caring for patients...the hot chocolate with cream, and a hot, toasted Everything Bagel with salmon or Tuna or Cheddar Melt with onions, tomatoes and lettuce and cream cheese does it for me. I love the atmosphere, the cashier most times is an older gentleman (genteel vibes: they don't make them like this anymore..very Customer Service Oriented and pleasant)....even kids go there to buy large cookies...I love the variety of bagels, teas, juices, smoothies and Safe atmosphere. I highly recommend them if you are in Katy!!!!

I had the cashew chicken salad. It was sooo good!! It came with bagel chips and some delicious bagel spread. I also had delicious mocha coffee. This was my first time and I really appreciate the older gentleman that explained some items to me. He was patient. I will be returning. Thank you 🙏 💕

This is the best bagel establishment I’ve tried in a long time! They have incredible, fresh and perfectly doughy and crispy bagels! Their selection of flavors and also of cream cheeses are amazing and they have a wonderful environment that makes it easy to sit down and enjoy a meal and a coffee (I got a cappuccino, and it did not disappoint!). I highly recommend this place for a great bagel!
Been here a couple of times now and it doesn't disappoint. Just make sure you get there early, because if you try going there during the weekend for brunch, for example, they wont have many bagels left. That is to be expected though, considering they open very early. I've had several things from their menu ranging from plain buttered bagels, to their wraps. Their wraps are a joke with barely any filling in them. At least judging from the one (and last) breakfast wrap I had. When it comes to their bagels, however, they are priced fairly and they are delicious.
My family and I have been regularly eating at the Bagel Cafe for more than a decade even after moving away from Katy. The place is the real deal and the drive is worth it.
Everything is made in-house and is always fresh. The bagels range from sweet to savory and they are all delicious. The cream cheese, and other sandwiches are also delicious.
1st time ordering from here this past Friday for a weekend girls trip! Got a random selection of bagels, 4 muffins and cream cheese (plain and jalapeño). Soooooo good! The ladies were impressed and loved the jalapeño cream cheese the most. My favorite was the cinnamon crumb muffin because it had a jam of some kind in the bottom center of the muffin. Yum! Definitely coming back to try out their lunch soon!

Best bagels in the city, although light on the cream cheese, especially for NY standards. New staff seems to be much friendlier than the old ones as I agree the past employees weren’t the friendliest, and if I’m mistaken and it’s the same staff, then maybe they were in a better mood today, lol.
