My boricua friend and I went to this restaurant, I order shrimp cocktail and he order a nice Puerto Rican plate, I got really dissatisfied wit my plate because I’ve never in my life had this type of shrimp cocktail that consist on a bowl with a bed of lettuce the shrimp covered on a sauce of ketchup and Mayo with a few crackers that aren’t fresh, it was very disappointing because I’ve never had a cocktail like this and expensive for non fresh food, even my friend told me that’s not an actual shrimp cocktail and he is a chef; the only thing that redeem this experience it was his plate, it was so close to his PR food taste, the meat it’s was cooked perfectly the rice taste smoked bacon soooo good and the abichuelas amazing! This is the only reason why I am giving this start rate. In regards to the server we believe she needs more knowledge on the menue and be able to cross sell more products or provide better suggestions.
Nice tasty food, good service, and a solid go-to for big groups as well. There is plenty of parking up front. I'd visit again.
Food was good and service as well. The empanadas were very good and the churrasco as well. My wife had a sancocho de res and she loved it. Great experience, will come back
Long time local favorite. Empanados with chimichurri sauce were amazing. Large selection of meat under different sauces. Potatoes to die for. Pineapple juice was delicious. Very friendly staff. Family run business.
Service was pretty good and polite. They served us chips with an avocado salsa that tasted good. The salad that came with the steak special entree wasn't anything special. The entrees were a good portion, especially the bandeja paisa dish. The steak special was tender and nicely cooked (we ordered medium rare). The fried pork belly was a tad difficult to eat due to its size on the plate. Overall, the entrees were good and enjoyable. We would go again to try out other entrees and appetizers next time.
This place is amazing. We love the bandeja pausa as well as the fresh lemonade! Service is always on point and the chips and salsa they give before the food comes out is delish!!! My favorite Colombian restaurant!!
Wonderful dinner from beginning to end. Staff was friendly and offered a family like atmosphere. We found a new favorite place to dine. Wanted to add pics of our dinner too but was caught up with how good it was!!
While waiting on my vehicle to be inspected, I was looking for a quick bite to eat. I spotted Palma De Cera across the parking lot and decided to give it a try after checking the reviews. I am so happy that I did! This restaurant is definitely a treasure hiding in plain sight. Jerry was so friendly. I ordered the chicken fajita tacos and they were delicious! I couldn't get enough of the green salsa. It was the perfect consistency to hold on to the chip. Tiene mucho sabor!
Very pleasant dinner at this colombian restaurant. Food was delicious. I had the shrimp in coconut creole sauce. Gloria provided exceptional attention. Even the manager came to our table to greet and make sure we were having a great time. Definitely recommend it, and excited to go back for the tasty food 😋
The food here was beyond amazing, Gloria was such a sweetheart. This is such a hidden gem, would highly recommend. I am very hard to please when it comes to Latin food but this place literally took my number one spotless skyrocketed. It exceeded my expectations. The picada plate is a great appetizer for to, it definitely helped identifying what my main entree would be, the their house steak was incredibly juicy and savory.
