Beautiful view on the golf course. Fresh food. We enjoyed fresh pizza, pasta carbonara, gnocchi,fish of the day ,tuna! Everything was fresh and delicious! Also thanks to Alejandro, best server .. we went with his recommendations with food and wine! Thanks 🙏🏻
Taverna is amazing! The experience is great. We shared the Cristo Misto, Margherita pizza, fried Brussel sprouts for appetizers. Then I had the Casarecce con Cavolfiore Bolognese. It was excellent! And the desserts! Yummy Gelato!
My wife, daughter, and my sister and I ate here for a late lunch after our zipline guide recommended it. It did not disappoint! Everything was perfect. Delicious fish sandwich, crisp refreshing Paroni, and my wife mojito was 🔥. Great fries, and spectacular view over Kapalua
Had a quick bite right after hitting a bucket of balls. Bartender's working their showmanship skills. Impressive. Looking out on the course relaxing and calm. Flat bread was tasty. Pro shop is amazing! Merchandise is exceptional.
I had an excellent meal here! Service was very friendly and our server had great recommendations for food as well as wine pairings. Bring a large appetite for the lasagna, as it’s a very generous portion. And you’ll probably want to finish every single bite. The spaghetti carbonara was also really well done and a much more manageable portion size.
We did thanksgiving 2023 dinner at Taverna and it was fantastic. The food (lasagna, fish special and thanksgiving plate) was amazing - flavorful, hot, NOT TOO SALTY. The drinks were delicious and our server was hilarious. Definitely on our “return visit” list
Loved everything I tried! The carbonara was my favorite with the caprese salad to start. The bread olive oil and sea salt combo that came out right away was wonderful.
I also tried some of the lasagna which was good and the pesto lumache which was definitely my second favorite!
Great selection of wines, we ended up with a bottle of the Nebbiolo and the sauv blanc. Great choices 👌🏼👌🏼

Saw this place was on a golf course, but didn't realize it was on the grounds of the Ritz. Came for dinner after dark, so no views, but the ambiance was nice still. Valet is $50, but self parking is free, and is just a short 30-second walk across the street. Drinks were good(pressed about my ex & mauka-side). For dinner, got the lasagna & spaghetti carbonara. Both delicious, but portion sizes could've been bigger for what they're charging. It is Maui though. Had broccoli & brussel sprouts as sides. Each were okay, but nothing noteworthy. Service was good, as Steve took good care of us. We went closer to closing time though. Make a reservation to guarantee seating.
Didn’t realize that this was on a golf course and was very under dressed. Only valet in front of restaurant ($10). To self park you have to park across the street. Good vibes and atmosphere. We're seated very quickly. Food was... Good! The lasagna and pizza were ok, nothing to rave about. The short rib pasta was by far the best dish we had all night. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Drinks were good. Expect to pay tourist prices. It was at night so I can't talk about the views.
Extremely delicious. Went there one night for pasta and decided to go back for pizza. The waitress from the first night wasn't anything great, but the food made up for that. Looking forward to going back. Carbannara, Gnocchi, and Margherita pizza were delicious.
We came around Christmas with a big party and we were accommodated immediately. The food was so so good and the service matched. You don’t necessarily think Italian when you come to Hawaii but I would come back again for sure.

Also, the pricing was reasonable and not really expensive for what you get. 😜🤑

Aloha! I had the pleasure of dining at Taverna in the Ritz Carlton and it was truly an exceptional experience. Eric, our server, went above and beyond with his friendly and attentive service, making the evening even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely on point, satisfying my taste buds and leaving me thoroughly impressed. And let's not forget the fantastic happy hour offerings that added an extra layer of delight to the evening. Overall, Taverna at the Ritz Carlton exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to return for another memorable dining experience.
What a fabulous experience!!! We attended the Sunday brunch, and the wonderful spread of food was incredible. The staff is delightful and fun, and our overall experience is devine!!!!!
Taverna is a beautiful restaurant, with great food and great service in a lovely location, with plenty of parking nearby. The Pesce del Giorno (fish of the day) was absolutely delicious, my wife loved the Margherita pizza, and all three of us really enjoyed the Torta di Cioccolato for dessert.
For an upscale restaurant on Maui, the prices are reasonable. Expect to spend at least $50 per person, and you'll enjoy every the food, the drinks, the service and the atmosphere. Highly recommended for special occasions, or even if you're just visiting Maui.
