Breakfast sandwiches were delicious - we had Portuguese sausage and Spam. The English muffins were a little dense, but had good flavor. The malasadas were huge! Less is more. I was so excited to try these and built up my expectations a bit too much. They were hot and fresh, and tasted good, but agai
Hankering for some wholesome Mac nut banana bread, I found this place and it’s Irish owner to be a breath of fresh air and honesty. Her banana nut bread is dark and filled with mac nuts in every bite. Delish and not giving me a sugar rush. Great for those are sugar conscious.
The best part I liked about this pastry shop is that everything is made that day. Nothing is prepared beforehand. The pumpkin crunch was both moist and crunchy. It’s perfect for Thanksgiving. Wanted to try the avocado cheesecake but they were out. Next time.
Great bakery! It’s a must visit if you are in Kauai. She makes great malasadas, and delicious sandwiches for you to take on the go. A lot of hard work was put in this business. Stop by and enjoy.
Excellent malasadas and other wonderful bakery and desserts. The owner is great and the new location is spacious. Next to Waipouli Restaurant in Kapaa. Try it!!
Bakery had multiple types of homemade rolls, breads, and treats, with a number of hot breakfast sandwiches on their homemade english muffins and malasadas made to order every morning. Easy drive from Lihue and very nice owner. Highly recommend.
Just one look at all these beautiful treats and you can plainly tell they are made with love and expertise. It’s a good thing I came in knowing I wanted cheesecake or I’d have been torn between that and a mini banana cream pie for ages. I brought home a slice of their strawberry white chocolate chee
Went to VIP treats and sweets for our first time to indulge in #Malasadas!! They are served every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 7am-2 or until they sell out!! Locally owned business with lots of choices from fresh breads, pies, cookies and sandwiches. We got to meet the owner and she was very
Amazing bakery! Pumpkin cheesecake was awesome and so is the sourdough loaf. Owner was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend paying it a visit.
Stopped in to place a bakery order for a family meal. Also picked up some of.the deserts. Great tasting and reasonably-priced
You will never find a more delicious bakery on this island than VIP! She is so incredibly kind and welcoming, and hardworking! After we bought our delicious malasadas, we actually stayed and chatted for a bit afterwards just because she was so sweet! Supporting local bakeries like this is so importa
Wonderful sourdough bread and papaya muffin. Good quality ingredients. We could taste the butter and egg in the fluffy muffin. Taro bread made without any added colors. Love the natural ingredient chooses and very warm friendly staff.
Just bought a loaf of FRESH Taro bread, Right out of the oven! Still hot!! VERY impressed! Absolutely delicious! What impressed me the most was the list of ingredients. (8) which were ALL completely natural whole foods! Delicious AND wholesome! The taro was roasted and shredded into the dough. AWES
The best sticky buns and cinnamon rolls! The macadamia nut shortbread cookies are addicting! When visiting we go every day!
Pumpkin crunch was really good!!!
Nice little pit stop for a macadamia nut honey cinnabun and a eggs and bacon English muffin.
Overall this place has lots of potential and the owner is very nice. So far I have tried the bread pudding which I didn’t care for, it was hard and just not that good, it even hurt my belly after eating it. Rice pudding was good, pineapple cupcake was dry and didn’t have a lot of flavor. The reason
