I came, with my wife, to watch a band play some live rock and was super impressed. Some original songs were the bomb. Great atmosphere! Everyone working was with smiles. Open floor plan, handicap accessible, loved it.
We will be back! We only had drinks, free to walk in with band playing, no cover.
First time we went was for happy hour. We chose to sit at the bar at the last two seats available at the end. We had to shout out our orders. The Mai Tai was just OK. They have a nice selection of local beers. We had the Edamame and the Tempura Mushroom Bombers. Both were pretty good.
They told us about Sunday Brunch and football season in Hawaii means games start at 8:00 am so we gave them another try. OMG! The brunch menu is very good. We shared the french toast and the omelette. Both were incredible. We sat at a table and the service was excellent. The two Bloody Mary’s were delish. And every TV screen had a different game on. Great way to start the day!
I have been having a blast lately at Big Wave Dave’s! Tasted the chicken wings last night and they were great! The service has also greatly improved!! Thank you for making us local kine feel so welcome! We will spread the word!
Heidi is the best! We watched a football game here and had so much fun chatting with her and a few other people at the bar. Will definitely be back next time we're in Kauai ❤️
Absolutely amazing time at Dave's! Visited from sesttpe and was welcomed in woth loving arms great drinks and some awesome food. I stopped in here multiple times and everytime was fantastic.
This place is awesome. Met the owner, son and daughter. I can say the daughter makes a better drink . This place is for locals and my go to place next year
